“We rented the Flying Caballos' farmhouse backyard for our wedding welcome picnic, and our groomsmen stayed in the house itself over the weekend. Sarah was so helpful, kind, and accommodating in the months leading up to the event, and the party itself was PERFECT. The space is shockingly beautiful, much more than the photos even, with gorgeous views of the hills. It was so stunning, we could have gotten married right there on the lawn and been perfectly happy! All of our guests were from out of town and it was an ideal way to introduce them to the beauty of central California. Thank y'all so much :)”

I feel like I'm eating in a rest homefor the elderly..Small portion, no taste,Price $$ high.Ordered Chicken Fried steak, had a dab of gravy on top.Asked for extra gravy,I received 2 more tablespoons in a tiny dish..We won't be eating at our favorite Elks Lodge again..Our Lodge is loosing money, that's a shame”

“We recently stayed at SLO Brew Lofts for our wedding weekend at The Carrisa (right downstairs!), and it was the perfect home base for our celebrations. While the price tag might give you a pause, let me tell you, it's absolutely worth it!
Here's why SLO Brew Lofts stole a piece of our hearts:
Boutique Charm: The vibe is undeniably chic and boho, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt like a luxurious stay in a friend's stylish apartment.
Cleanliness A+: The loft was spotless and beautifully maintained. It felt fresh and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of wedding festivities.
Convenience King: Location, location, location! Being right next door to The Carrisa was incredibly convenient, especially for those last-minute touches. Plus, exploring downtown SLO was a breeze.
Parking Solved (Almost): Street parking can be tricky, but SLO Brew Lofts provides complimentary parking passes, taking the stress out of finding a spot.
Stacia Saves the Day: Huge shoutout to Stacia, the property manager! When we accidentally locked ourselves on the rooftop (don't ask!), Stacia answered our call immediately and helped us out in a flash. Now that's top-notch service!

“This is our second visit at Inn by the Pier and it will forever be one of our favorites. I wanted to highlight the amazing work and warmness of the staff. Especially Anastasia at the front desk, whatever she is being paid is not enough. She goes above and beyond and made our trip extra special. As well as Jesse at the front desk too, he's also amazing as well. They were helpful with our reservations and always helped when we needed anything. Breakfast in the lobby is delicious. I highly recommend the Short rib hash! Make sure you ask for a side of the house made chili Verde salsa. The rooftop restaurant is lovely in the evening. Their food selections are great as well. Like I said I cannot boast enough about this place. We will be back often, it's our new favorite spot.”

HANG ON...Did I book a room at the SANDS INN & SUITES or the RITZ CARLTON?As you might imagine given that this review is posted on the Google Maps page for the Sands Inn & Suites, I didn't book a room at the Ritz Carlton.My stay at the Sands was impeccable. I wouldn't trade my experience here for anything in the world...except maybe A MILLION DOLLARS. Other than that, I WOULDN'T TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING.”
