I came here with my husband for a late snack and tonight we were talking about hot dogs. So we happened to drive past this 7 Eleven on a whim tonight and decided to see if there were hot dogs on the grill at 9:15 pm. There was one spicy dog still cooking so I asked the employee (a much older man than myself) what would happen if we wanted 2 hotdogs and he said the microwave would cook one hot dog in a fraction of the time, but he was not open to any conversation about any questions that we had because my husband wanted the one on the grill and as anyone knows a microwaved hot dog is moist and not crispy. My husband isn’t a pushy man but he wanted the one that had a little bit of crispiness to the skin. So the employee handed us 2 microwaved hotdogs and the entire time we said no words to one another the vibe the employee was projecting was a loud one, the kind of vibe when someone doesn’t want to be bothered so it was an awkward transaction. The floor in front of the hot dog station (where the chili and cheese dispenser is) was slippery and nasty like grease had been allowed to build up and the trash can has not been wiped down in a millennia. Ok fair play, I should know better than to trust a convenience store for a good hot dog and maybe my expectations were too high. When it came time to pay, my card wasn’t going through because the screen remained unchanged after I inserted my card. I asked the employee if I was too early in inserting my card *silence*
So by this time I had tuned in to this surly man’s demeanor and that this particular transaction was not such a genial one and that he was not about to speak. So after my card finally went through and we finalized that I was not offered a receipt but honestly I was fuming inside due to his lack of communication and eye contact. It was an actual awkward visit between 3 adults.
I looked at him and said “you could be friendlier” to which he replied “No,I don’t know how”, so I said “you could be friendlier if you Tried”, he agreed with a yes as he twirled his silver mustache. I will go out of my way and be willing to drive 15 miles out of my way to a different 7 Eleven so as to never patronize this location ever. Ok, you’ve been alerted now. The risk is yours

Tried to get gas at 5 am. Doors were locked. Guy was standing in front of the door mopping. He made eye contact with me and moved to where I couldn't see him and continued to mop. Jargroop
Hours say 24/7. Based off experience, that's a lie.
After maybe five minutes or so someone else showed up. Our guy Jargroop opens the door for him right away. So I go in and get gas. Jargroop doesn't care that he ignored me. Doesn't give a reason to why he ignored me. And just says thank you as I'm walking out. F u too Jargroop.
I tried calling their phone number and it's been disconnected.

I have been to this location like others said because it’s close and convenient. All previous visits have been fast, easy, and friendly. I’ve never had a problem until this early morning. My boyfriend and I walked in , smiled at the cashier and went straight to the slurpee machine. The moment we walked into the store the cashier (older gentleman with facial hair), who was previously sitting down before walking in, walked towards us and literally stared at us grab cups and decide what flavor to get. I thought that was odd but I just assumed he wanted to let us know something. He did indeed tell us that the red light means that slurpee flavor is not ready but we already knew that. We smiled and nodded and continued to fill our cup. He continued to stare at us while also standing close enough to bump into him. Once we were done and also decided to get a fountain drink, he followed us once again. While I was standing holding my slurpee , some of the slurpee did overflow and dripped down the side of my cup. He instantly started talking really loud in a language I was unfamiliar with towards me in a tone that did not seem friendly. I assumed from the tone he was upset I had spilt the contents of my drink which I had apologized and assured him that we will be cleaning it up of course. He kept going on getting louder and closer, all I could hear was something about he didn’t wanna clean up or he just cleaned up. I felt so bad and let him know that it was a complete accident and he told me that I wasn’t supposed to fill my cup all the way up. Correct me if I’m wrong but most people fill their slurpees to the top with the dome on to get maximum volume. The overflow was so minimal like droplets, I usually never overflow the dome it was a true accident. My boyfriend was trying to calm the situation, letting the man know that he’s cleaning it up. He walked towards the check out but still continued to express himself in such an aggressive manner. Once the contents were cleaned up and we continue our shopping, he proceeded to come back and say the same thing from earlier how we spilt it and he just cleaned up. We were confused because the situation was remedied so why continue to talk to us like that. I started to feel uncomfortable and told my boyfriend I would like to pay and just leave. He kept rambling on in such an unfriendly manner that made both me and my boyfriend uncomfortable. I have worked retail and over night shifts so I understand how a customer may ruin something just done so it can be frustrating. But never did I think some small droplets of slurpee (that I would’ve cleaned up because I understand I created the mess) would’ve led to such an unnecessary and uncomfortable interaction. I went in planning on purchasing multiple things I needed and only left with whatever I had in hand to escape the situation. Definitely lost a customer and will not be returning. So far the other staff have great customer service skills but this older gentleman definitely acted like he wanted us up and out of the store as fast as possible. I seen another review that matches mine and I think it’s safe to assume we are talking about the same older gentleman. Just a friendly reminder to be kind to each other both customer and employee.

I always purchase my gas here because I live down the street and it’s convenient but most definitely will be going elsewhere. The rudest worker. An older gentleman with facial hair. I kindly asked for napkins because I had made a slushy and there was a little overflow so I wanted clean up the side of it and I looked around for napkins and the worker was unboxing merchandise when I asked him for some or where they’d be. He rudely yelled at me in a different language and then got some from a box because there wasn’t any out for customers. I turned to grab them from him but he threw them on the counter next to me. He rolled his eyes and motioned with his hands to hurry up. I’ve never experienced anything like that before. The workers are always usually very kind and ready to help. Maybe the man working the late shift that night was a family member or something, he was entitled and rude. I’ve worked in customer service as a young adult, there’s never a good enough excuse to ever treat a customer so disgustingly.

Went to get gas at the Hageman station but couldn't pay at pump so because I was filling up two cars I went to Brimhall. Promised extra 5 cent discount didn't materialize.

Absolute horrid customer service from all but the Sr. Manager and one girl who we rarely see. The old bearded guy actually looks at customers with disdain in his eyes, no hello's, thank you's or good days, despite our wishing him a good afternoon. We make it a point to now buy gas and sundries closer to home near Hageman or across the street at RiteAid.
Edit: As for the owners response about contacting their corporate website, we have. No action taken by corporate. Seems to be just lip service.
