Today, ALBERTSONS: 3:40pm Store 377. 13045 Highway 58, Bakersfield, CA 93312 Corner Rosedale and Allen. The VAST majority of people will ask for their cold cuts to be sliced thin. No one really likes trying to rip slabs of cold cuts or cheese with bare teeth while eating a sandwich. And there's a HUGE difference in how that product is laid out. We were trained by Boar's Head back in Brooklyn, how to properly slice cold cuts and cheese. Apparently the rocket scientist at Albertson's an hour ago has not been the recipient of that training. OR ANY TRAINING in how to use a slicer properly and STACK slices! This is the God-awful mess we just opened at home. The sheer level of incompetence is staggering. Uncaring, untrained minions tossed behind a counter to operate machinery with spinning blades that are unforgiving if not tended properly. And Albertsons is certainly not the only offender. What a MESS this package is. Yes, it was technically "sliced"...but right NOW it's essentially a 1-pound SLAB of cheese. Unbelievable.

All I can say is Rhonda you are RUDE. If you can't handle your job maybe get a new one or take a vacation so you don't take it out on the customers.

False advertising flowers, 'Kaci' was rude and unhelpful. Putting prices on the wrong flowers and getting upset when you call them out on it. Neighborhood market.. not so much

I normally don’t write reviews but I have to for this pharmacy. I would rate it lower with some information I just gathered, but I used this place for years with no problems. However, I go in today to pick up my medications that were ready. Now I am a busy person that has shift work and I live about 15 minutes away so it’s harder to come in right away. They canceled one of my medications with no notification saying it was a ten day policy. That I would understand if I was notified. Then I come back home and found out that it was actually nine days since the order, so that is disappointing. Needless to say I won’t be going back sadly.

I usually go to Albertsons and it's a bit pricy but always clean and well organized but I don't know if they were having a bad day but I picked up some fried chicken from the deli and it horrible. It had a horrible smell to it and tasted even worse than it smelled. I never had any issues at any other location but this one has to be the worst experience yet.

Today I went to pickup my Rx. It was phoned in 6 days ago by the MD. Now they tell me they need a Dx code (which they already have but now can't find) and they refuse to fill the drug (which I am now out) until the MD calls them with a Dx code. I asked "why didn't you let someone (me or the MD) know before this instead of waiting until I came in to pick it up and I'm out? They had no response, not even an apology which makes it even worse. I won't file a complaint with the State Board of Pharmacy because I don't think this rises to that level but it is irritating.

To the way to uptight cashier who indicated to me that " i didn't no its mandatory " to laugh at my jokes...i no its not, but its also not mandatory to trade at your store, i no this isn't important you. Your still going to make your hourly wage and not get 2 days off in a row ever...lol Check your human resources dept maybe they can refresh your customer service skills.......

I'm pretty sure every time I've placed an online order, at least one item is missing...and not that it was out of stock, but something I was charged for and didn't receive. I miss being able to order from Von's, instead of this place... I hope one day you can get one order correct.

I read that last review and I would just chalk it up to this pandemic. They were really touchy at first, and they still won't let you come to the checkout till you're called up. One cashier ticked me off once, but I should have read the well placed sign and not approached her register till it was cleaned. This is all new to them too and I'm sure they're a bit stressed. think they do a better job of handling this new protocol than any other market. It's my favorite supermarket. I don't have all the isle numbers memorized, but I can tell you just about where everything is.
