Service is always great but I didn’t receive any notification prior to delivery. This could have caused an issue if nobody had been home as we have locked gates that need to be opened to allow access to tank.

If there was an option for a negative star review, AmeriGas would get a negative five from me. Awful experience and customer service. I have been misinformed multiple times by their customer service representatives and supervisors. They delivered propane to the wrong home and charged me for it. Then it took them an additional two weeks to deliver the propane I originally ordered. Current price per gallon is way above current competitors ($4.00+). It’s been over three weeks and they have not refunded the order they messed up on so now I’ve been double charged (they also have a 100 gallon minimum so you can see the frustration). Whatever you do, DO NOT use their “services” and go elsewhere. UPDATE: It’s been one month since this review and the issue has been going on since January and they’ve yet to refund me. Every time I have called they’ll say it’ll be refunded in 48 hrs or that they are still working on it which could take another five business days. As I stated previously, avoid AG at all costs

The driver made an exceptional effort in post-blizzard conditions. The problem is that the call center wasn't able to give accurate or detailed information about delivery delays and conditions. Call center employees weren't communicating delivery volume in the area or giving realistic service estimations. Customers end up feeling they're being ignored or think delays will be prolonged when no one shows up on the initial dates - especially when service is critical before a storm.

I wish I could give zero stars. For a national company this could be the most poorly run company I've ever done business with. Once corporate decided that it would be financially beneficial to centralize their operations into a call center and not allow local offices to speak to customers, deliveries became a nightmare. I recently ordered propane on 1/26 and was given a delivery window of 1/27 - 2/2. No delivery and no communication. I called them on 2/6 and was told they would expedite the order and it would be delivered within 24 hours. No delivery and no communication. I called 3 more times and was promised delivery within 24 hours each time. Never happened. Called again and was told the delivery was scheduled for 2/15. I receive a text this morning that they attempted delivery and were unable to complete the delivery due to an icy road and the driveway not being plowed. Complete BS. There is no ice or snow and the access to the tank is the same as it always has been. I canceled the order and called Delano Propane. I spoke to the dispatcher and driver. They are delivering propane tomorrow. Amerigas is a prime example of upper management losing contact with the operational people and customers and putting profit above service. Never again.

by far the most unprofessional company on earth. avoid at all costs. they promise deliveries and never show up. they have a call center overseas that is worthless. switched companies and told them to come take their tank its still there. ill list it on craigslist this week.

Save yourself the ongoing frustration these guys will give you. To say they suck os a gross understatement. About as unprofessional, disorganized, and non caring as you can get. They really don't give a crap. I'm surprised they're still in business. 90% of the time they don't deliver when they say, and continue to give you a new date that doesn't happen. Doesn't matter to them at all that you've run out of propane by now. They just say, and I quote, "well that's just how it is". I could give you a long list of my gripes like how the idiot they sent toMy house pulled my stove out instead of using the wheels that are on it leaving a 10" scratch in my custom wood floor. It's truly appalling how horrible this company is. Go to western. They're awesome.

The worst service one could have!!! After 42 years with Amerigas, after building my house, I am changing to another company for propane. I am in Ridgecrest, and Amerigas used to have an office in Kernville. No more. And now waiting for eight days for a delivery (nor Bakersfield) I have no heat, can't use my stove and can't use hot water. I am out!!! At 77 years old, and with small freezing pets, I am sicknow.

Ordered my propane on December 14 and I received it on December 31. Every time I called customer service it took me to a call-center, where the customer service representatives were laughing on the phone telling me that it’s 15 minutes out when that was a lie For days. Since it was past their 7 to 10 business days of getting it delivered one of the representatives offered a $25 discount which I asked was that a joke, her response no just in time for Christmas. I had to go all the way down to 1% before I got my delivery . Talking about being stressed out ! Could not run my own heater for a week cuz I would of ran out completely. Would never go back through this company.

Failed to show up on delivery date and didn't even call I called and set up a 2nd delivery date they failed to show up again or call I called and set up a 3rd delivery waiting to see if they show up I will not call a 4th time I will call kern river propane

First of all, anyone would be better to go anywhere but here. We've had constant problems with AmeriGas's service. The consumer will be nothing more than a number. Guaranteed. I've been on emergency delivery for two days with no propane. This is the third time in a year this has happened to us. We call prior to the tank becoming an issue and then the wait game begins. When you call for service expect a call center in who knows where with about ten thousand people in the background who can tell you very little more than you already know. There are multiple ways to provide good customer service and AmeriGas is the example of what not to do. I don't live in Narnia, nor do I make unreasonable requests when requesting service from a facility that is less than a mile away. This is delivering something from one place to another. It shouldn't be this difficult. Save your time and go elsewhere. Delta Liquid Energy is a much better company if you live in the Kern River Valley and surrounding areas.

we're on automatic delivery. they placed the order for fill up on 10/28 and here on 11/11, we're out of gas completely. called on 11/10 and was assured we'd get a delivery today as an \\\"emergency\\\" delivery and now they changed their tune and keep promising for 11/12 tomorrow by which we will still be out of gas and cold. i am not the only one who complains about this in our town. they have a HORRIBLE reputation around here. switch to literally any other company if you can.

Was canceled over 7 times without explanation. Have called over 15 times and talked to 2 supervisors yet no solution. Only 1 person has offered to waive the fee and although the issue has been escalated multiple times with no show. They don't have a number to directly contact the service provider so you talk to the call center which means you run around in circles because you are talking to someone new each time. Been out of gas for 8 weeks and I am a new customer. 100% canceling my service.

The technician who came out to check the tank was on time and very helpful in making arrangements to have it fixed. The office representative was also very helpful in resolving a billing issue. They made me glad I chose AmeriGas.
