I called Dr.Paul Ansolabehere because my horse was suffering from colic. He asked me who my regular vet was. I informed him who my regular vet was and I let him know she was out of town. His response to that information was "I don't cover for that vet because we have a personality clash. Good luck with your horse."

Dr. Paul A**********e is well respected for his knowledge and skills in the large animal field. He is a caring and compassionate vet. Most always available and makes arrangements to cover his clients if he is away from his practice never leaving his clients without options for help when he is unavailable.

Do not bring your animals to this veterinarian. He refused to help some horses because the original vet was out of town and he doesn’t like her...

Dr. Paul has been my vet for many years he has treated my horse fairly and me and I have always had great results. I do know that he is mostly retired now and mainly does his regular patients still but I don't know if he's taking new ones you would have to call to find out.

The lack of professionalism here is so sad. 0 stars would be my preferred choice. This man refused to care for two horses because their regular vet and him has a “personality clash.” It’s not about the conflict and “clash” you have, sir, it was about the horses and their lives, and what your job is to do on a daily basis. I hope that is taken from you after this because it’s clear you prioritize childish disputes over what your job is all about.

horrible. I will not fight until this man is broke. he is a mean, ruthless, sinister..vet. to decline an animals care (which by the way is your job) because of a PERSONAL problem is absurd. if you aren’t professional enough to draw the line there you shouldn’t have a license. I hope he never touches an animal again. buyer beware!! don’t support you.

Awful, let two horses suffer through colic because of a personality clash with the owners original vet who was out of town. Vet board complaint filed!

Is unprofessional and refuses care from people who usually get cared for by a vet he doesn't like. He should have his license taken

I am disgusted that this person would allow two animals suffer through Colic because of a “personality clash.” A complaint has been made to the board. Animals come first.

Horribly unprofessional and does not care about animals. Will not treat animals if he has a "personality clash" with your usual vet, who happened to be out of town.
