Review for ampm on Monterey St, Bakersfield, CA:
I come to this location almost every day, but today was the last straw. I picked up two taquitos from the hot food section—the ones that are two for $3—along with a coffee, water, and a few other items. When I finally ate the taquitos, they tasted and smelled like mop water or cleaning fluid. I don’t know what happened, but it was disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. I tried both and ended up throwing them away.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here either—there’s always something off. If food is being handled or stored near cleaning supplies, or if residue is getting onto the food, that’s a serious health risk. This location needs to do better. I won’t be getting food from here again.

The employee who didn't give me my change back found my social media to tell me he will not be fired for any complaints. He is terrible worker and terrible customer service.

Went to get a snack during work break and the lady (11/18/22 around 1:10pm) charged my card extra money after I left. Went back to ask why and all she could say was “she sorry won’t happen again”. Never again will I go there?????
