About Bakersfield Parent Nursery
Bakersfield Parent Nursery is a play-based cooperative preschool in Bakersfield, California serving children ages 2–6. Our preschool focuses on learning through play, creativity, exploration, outdoor experiences, and hands-on discovery in a warm and nurturing environment. Families are active participants in our school community, helping create meaningful relationships between children, parents, and teachers. We offer small class sizes, a 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio, flexible schedules of 2–5 days per week, and a curriculum designed to support social, emotional, and academic readiness for kindergarten and beyond.

We were part of BPN for 3 amazing years. My daughter enjoyed every single day. BPN was not just a Pre-School for my daughter, it was a family. All teachers are amazing, dedicated and supportive with all students. We strongly recommend BPN.

My grandsons attended this preschool for a total of 4 years. The facility, staff, and parent community are excellent! The children learn in creative and amazing ways. Educational, physical, and social skills are always emphasized, and the curriculum is top notch! Highly recommended.

Both my children attended BPN and they loved it. It was a great school. When they went to kindergarten they were prepared and ready to go. Such a wonderful school.
