Wow. Where is circuit city when you need them? Oh closed. Today i walked in the best buy and was greeted by 3 employees right away. I was pointed to tje camra area after asking for a tripod. After picking one out i walked to the front so i could pay. Unfortunately there was only one employee trying to help 2 different lines. She was way over her head. The line was atleast 8 people when i left. One guy and his wife both said they waited 30 minutes. I guess i got lucky. 15 minutes after getting in line i was paying and ready to go. The gal that helped me was friendly and its not her fault that no other staff was thete to help. Horrible job by management. But by looking at the other reviews. Its clear they dont care. Sad stuff.

Had a frustrating experience with Best Buy's customer service in the Rosedale Bakersfield branch, including dissatisfaction with the manager, Elvia, not knowing how to address our concerns. Last night, this writer purchased a Sony recording, but my husband was assigned to get pick-up. Best Buy provided his name with the confirmation number. Still, when he was at the counter, the cashier required him to have the purchaser be at the site, which the person who was picking up was already under his name, to confirm he showed his identification that the product was for him. The cashier refused to give the product purchase a night ago, and of course, this writer steps into the building because they require the purchaser to be at the site. Now, the bad thing is that the line was so long, and my husband, who was made to the counter, already had to start all over again. This writer called the manager, Elvia if she could help and step in because the person was in line again; was there any way she could help scan the item to make the process fast? I gave her an example of how the bank process speeds up the pickup. Now she understood and actions made. I believe the staff at Best Buy Rosedale needs more training to have excellent customer service. The line was massive, and the staff did not care for their customers.

Don't go there! Rude arrogant employees. Went there today for a scheduled 1:40 pm appointment to replace the screen on my iPhone. Was told by a female employee to sit in a white chair and wait for the technician. Sat for ten minutes while the technician finished up with another customer. The technician then started to take care of a walk-in customer. After another 10 minutes I spoke up and asked why did I need to make an appointment if they were not going to honor it. The extremely rude male employee told me that I should have been standing at a sign that was about 10 feet from where I was seated. I advised that I was told to sit on one of their little white chairs. He ignored me for a couple minutes then said come up to the counter. I showed him the documentation of my appointment and after looking at his computer for a few minutes he said they had no information about me. He then went through a door that was behind him and disappeared. After 10 to 15 minutes he came back out and stated "doesn't matter anyway, we don't have the part in stock". This employee obviously could not care less about customers, and thrives in being rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Spend your money where you want, but I will never step foot in a Best Buy store again!

The fact that their customer service is a call center in India makes dealing with this Best Buy an infuriating experience. There is no way to actually get ahold of someone at this store other than to drive to the store to speak to someone which isn't cool for people who don't live near the store.

Bought lifetime warranty for screen protector. This included them to replace and put it on for me. That's why I paid extra. Then they changed policy and would replace it but wanted to charge me to put it on my phone. When I got upset they gave me a phone number to call a robot lolThen went back to just get another one this year and they don't and can't replace it. Got 26$ of my 37$Back. Whatever lol

I prefer to order online and then go to the store to pick-up my order. This works great.

Best Buy has better pricing than Office Depot. Much better deal on printer ink.

Ridiculously slow customer service. On one more than one occasion I was left waiting for help for over 30 mins. No explanation other than “I’ll be right with you” then proceed to help others who waited less time than me. Waited almost an hour to have a case opened.

Best buy is worthless for mobile devices. If you’re upgrading your cell phone, don’t ever go through Best Buy. Just go through your carrier. No communication, horrendous customer service. Waited 2 weeks for a preorder just to have it cancelled on me due to “balance due on account” which was the current bill that wasn’t due until next month. Then the line of the phone to be upgraded was shut off. When in store to inquire, they did not take any responsibility & blamed it all the carrier. They wouldn’t honor the promotion I preordered for & I had to have the carrier reinstate the service of my upgrade so my kid could at least be able to use his phone.
