The customer service here is phenomenal. Went in for an oil change for the very first time. The great customer service actually started with a phone call inquiry which led me to come in as a customer the same day. Came in on a Saturday and it took some time even with an appointment but they were as fast as they could be. I will definitely be returning here for my vehicle maintenance.

Absolutely terrible customer service.
I had my motorhome tires replaced before leaving town. 6 hours later in the middle of nowhere I had a flat tire. I spent 4 hours sitting on the side of the i5 stressing out waiting for a tire truck come out. The valve stem had been installed incorrectly causing all the air to leak and had to be replaced. I asked BigO tires what they could do about it they said that the valve stem was my responsibility and they weren’t responsible for it even though they had installed it. Very frustrating. When I pushed back about the fact they they had installed it incorrectly the manager guy got very upset and was blaming me for trying to get money out of him and said I had to drive the vehicle back so they could look at it. Hours out of my way. No apology was offered on their end.

I do NOT recommend this place. I paid over $1,600, and they completely messed up my car.
They first said there was an issue related to my tire, so I agreed to pay—just wanted it fixed. Then one of the guys told me my car was making a weird noise and needed an alignment, even though I had just done one a few months ago. My car wasn’t making any noise before I brought it in, and the alignment was perfectly fine.
He kept pointing out more and more things supposedly wrong with my car—it felt like they were just trying to squeeze more money out of me.
At one point, they broke something during the repair and, after about 6 hours, told me they couldn’t finish. They said I’d need to come back the next day because they had to order the part they broke. Then they said, “Don’t worry, we won’t charge you.” I was like—why would I pay for something YOU messed up?
When I finally took my car back to Taft, things got even worse: it was making strange noises, all the dashboard lights were on, and the steering wheel was completely twisted.
I was furious. I went back the next day and told them to fix it. When they said it was ready, I drove it just two blocks—same exact issues. I took it back again. They fixed the dashboard lights, but the steering wheel was still off. That was it for me. They were never touching my car again.
I ended up taking it to the dealership, and they finally fixed the alignment properly.
This place creates more problems just to charge you more. Stay away.

I went to another place for years. And just wanted to try here. Especially with the coupon. So happy I went here. James is by far the best! What great customer service. I was in and out within an hour.

I've had great experiences at Big Brand Tire for my tire repairs! The staff was super friendly and efficient, getting my tires checked and fixed in no time. I really appreciated their kindness and quick service. Highly recommend!

So I have had to get a lot of work done on two separate vehicles. This place has the nicest people and they do good work. A lot of mechanics seem so shady but I really believe this place isn’t. They just seem so genuine. Before going to big o tires I was going to another place to get work done on my cars but everytime I’d leave that place something else would go wrong with my car or it would still be making the same noise as it did in the first place. So it felt like I was just wasting money or like they were messing up something every-time they “fixed” something. So one day my tire was messing up and I brought it to big o tires. I thought they only did tires there but then when I got there they had told me something else that was wrong with my car and asked if I wanted it fixed and I told them yes. That’s when they told me they do it all. They fixed it and when I left there my car drove like it was a brand new vehicle. I’ve not left a shop in CA feeling safe and confident that my car was actually fixed until I came here and they worked on my car. So I come here for everything now! Great ppl. I recommend you don’t go anywhere else. They’ll do you right at that shop. Not to mention…….The store manager is the best and always makes you feel welcome. He's so friendly. Best shop in Bakersfield.
