Finding a Bible believing church that preaches the Bible, touches life, does missions, I love the praise and worship. There is so much peace knowing i’m in a godly congregation like this. Going through the Bible this year is the best journey so far.

My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to dedicating our 6 month old at The Bridge. We attended their child dedication class to learn more as it is a prerequisite to the ceremony. They make you do the class as well as an interview with an elder or pastor. We are unmarried, but raise our child in Jesus’s image and faith focused. We never thought that being unmarried would cause an issue as we are still devout in our faith. The bridge made it very clear that if you were unmarried, then you cannot dedicate your child in the ceremony. as they told us, for being unmarried, is not a “no” but a “wait” to be married first before we could dedicate our son. This is very disappointing for Christians, as we are a committed, loving family who want to raise and dedicate our child to Jesus, but I told no because we are not perfect. we find it very hypocritical that “accept everyone” but truly do not unless you have a perfect image. people come in all sorts of relationships. and circumstances (single parents, same-sex, unmarried, etc.)
The judgment we felt was humiliating and unnecessary. With that being said, we won’t be returning to the bridge and will be finding somewhere else to go that is more accepting and understanding.

We love attending the Bridge! The teaching is very solid and bible based. Every message is always committed to going deep into understanding the full picture of the scriptures and not just cherry picking verses. The worship is beautiful and powerful and I look forward to connecting with God in this special way every week. And what I love most about the Bridge- this is a group of believers who are honest about sin and not afraid to share their struggles and in turn help each other deal with it. Many of our churchgoers have come from rough pasts and share regularly about how God transformed their lives. The kids programming is wonderful and fun and my kids learn so much! Also really appreciate the student ministry where my teens can connect with other teens seeking God and learn real and helpful ways to deal with the struggles unique to our young generations. Highly recommend the Bridge Bible Church!

Our family absolutely loves The Bridge Bible Church! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and at home. Our kids are safe and thriving in the incredible Kids Ministry program—it’s clear that the team genuinely loves and cares for every child.
Beyond that, we’ve been able to connect in such meaningful ways. I’ve found so much encouragement and support through the Mom’s group, men’s and women’s groups as well as a couples’ small group. This church has been instrumental in helping us build an intimate and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.
It’s been life-changing to find a place where we can grow in our faith while experiencing deep fellowship, a strong sense of community, and friendships that feel like family. If you’re looking for a church where you can truly feel at home and draw closer to Christ, The Bridge is the an amazing place!

The Bridge has been an absolute blessing in my life. I have grown deeper in my faith with the Lord and am constantly supported, not just the staff, but other members of the church who care deeply about the people in our community. This is a place you can go, free of fear of judgement and start fresh with your relationship with Christ. There are so many opportunities to have community and build relationships, not only with God but with others around you to support each other in your walk with the Lord. If you’re looking for a church, no matter your background, this is the place for you.

The Bridge Bible Church is such an amazing and special place! The people are always so kind and welcoming and there’s so many resources available to help make Sunday an enjoyable and spiritually fulfilling time. I highly recommend The Bridge if you’re looking to try out a Sunday service or find a place to call your home church!

Great place for kids. Teaching staff is generally good. Some of the senior teaching staff focuses on God’s judgement and not enough on God’s love. Often times they tell you how bad you are instead of how good God is.

Ok, our first time going there today since we moved to Bakersfield about a year and half ago. The message was solid. The pastor seems genuine. They seem to have a strong prayer team. We were blessed by the message. Now, just like any other modern mega church, the music was loud. But being loud is not as much a problem for me as the base being very strong. I wonder if any of these mega churches ever consider people’s health issues when they blast their music to the point of a relatively healthy person’s heart is pounded by the sound.

So I am going to have to agree with Dominic and disagree with @beautyphotos we went there for the first time this last Sunday and there was 15 minutes of worship and then they went on a 20 minute montage on how you should donate to them and give them money and if you don't basically implying you're not family or part of the church family or you are not a member if you didn't donate..... I understand churches need money to have activities but this made me very uncomfortable the amount of time they spent on it and the things that were said about it...We are going to give them the benefit of the doubt this time but if it happens this coming Sunday I will never attend this church again.... that being said the worship was great the message was great but when you're telling your congregation they are not worthy if you don't give it leaves an unsettling feeling in your stomach

There was 20 minutes of singing and 15 minutes of them saying donate to them. They made the service seem like it was about them not God.
