Citibank is just difficult to work with. My wife as a Citibank member until something to compromised. She got a call one evening and the caller spoofed the number to look like Citibank's official number. They claimed they were following up on several Zelle charges that were authorized from my wife's account and wanted to confirm some things. They already knew the login name that she used for her Citibank account and some other personal details. I don't think it came from a security breech on her PC or they would have already had the password and other information they wanted so I'm not sure where they got the info. Anyway we shut it down quickly and called Citi ourselves. My wife didn't feel comfortable after that so she closed her account. It took forever for the girl at the counter to help her get her account and even though we had already gone over everything about the reason for the closure the manager came over and wanted to hear it all again. When they finally cut her the check for her account she told them she wanted it closed out, the girl said it was. The account was closed, nothing in, nothing out it was gone. Fast forward 3 weeks, she had given her work the info for her new bank but they didn't process it and sent her pay check direct deposit to Citi. Low and behold her account wasn't closed and the money went into the Citi account. They wouldn't talk to her on the phone because she had emptied her account so she had to drive all the way down there again and explain everything and get them to cut her a check again for her paycheck that went into the bank. The account shouldn't have been open in the first place, it was almost a month after we had cancelled it. Something strange is going on with Citi, if you bank there I'd keep a close eye on your account.

After backing at Citibank for over 30 years they are threatening to close my account and impound any monies I may have in the account. I have my social security checks automatically deposited into my account each month. I electronically pay for bills out of that account each month. They claim that due to the inactivity of my account they will close my account. Automatic deposits and electronic payments do not count as activity. They encourage us to go paperless then we are penalized. I have to go in person to make a deposit or withdrawal. I will changing banks!

If I could, I would give this place - stars.. from the moment my family and I walked in we felt unwelcome and a very negative energy coming from one of the bankers named Azalia.. she was very unfriendly and not willing to help us out. Especially after we explained that we had just barely not even a month ago moved to this area and my husband is commuting to and from San Francisco ( for work purposes of course ) did she even try to be understanding.. People like her give what I thought was a decent bank a horrible name and reputation!

There is always a super long line because they are always understaffed at the teller counter. It may be Saturday morning right now, but only 1 active teller?? Really? There are 8+ people in line. Trying to save on overhead by skimping on tellers is a poor choice. Other than that, everything else seems adequate and standard as far as banks go.

Today was my first time visiting this branch location. I went in ten minutes before they closed and left 45 minutes after closing. The customer service was better than great. Derrick Nelson helped me out. Not once did he try to rush my visit, quite the contrary actually. He was very informative and very professional. The teller was extremely nice as well, I wish I'd gotten her name. Overall, my visit was quite pleasant and based on this experience I'd recommend this branch.
