The pharmacy department is very unprofessional! I was at the drive thru lane at 5:55 pm and there was two cars ahead of me, it was 6:07 when the car in front of me was pulling away and as soon as I got to the window they pulled down the curtain on me! Didn’t even give me a chance to speak to them. I know their closing hour is at 6 pm but it could have hurt them helping me out with my medication. It’s not like it was a matter of time because it was past six when the car in front of me was being helped. Another thing was that my prescription was placed at 2:30 pm and I got an option of requesting it to be done sooner than the expected 5:01 time. Well it was not ready till 4:53 pm. Now my child has to wait until the next business day with a fever because CVS couldn’t spare 5 min to help me get my child’s antiobiotics!

Outdoor landscape has been neglected for a year or more. There’s always a homeless encampment by the dumpsters. There’s never any product on the shelves; you’d think they were going out of business, but it’s been like this for a year or more. The pharmacist is incredibly disrespectful to customers/patients and has no regard for their privacy or abiding by HIPPA regulations. Every time I have gone to pick up medication, he has patients on the speakerphone, where everyone that’s near the pharmacy counter can hear. He also speaks disrespectfully to his staff and patients. He should be fired. The whole store needs a do-over, or a new business needs to come in and buy the place.

I miss Riteaide, their staff were always very pleasant and had a good attitude and the outside of the store was alway clean unlike this place. The outside of the store is dirty, the plants are all dead and its definitely a reflection of the staff as well.

I was shopping for Instacart on January 6th at the CVS on Rosedale Highway in Bakersfield and I was immediately greeted by am associate named Joseph. I asked him for assistance finding the 2 items I needed. He helped me find the first item and obtain an excellent replacement for the second item. Once I got my items, Joseph helped me at checkout. He was very friendly and made me feel welcome in the store. I will definitely shop here again if all the employees are as welcoming as Joseph was. Keep up the great work CVS. Thank you.

This pharmacy is hiring! I can see why! After a long day day and getting out of the hospital with my mother I had to pick her prescriptions up. The lady that at the drive thru was the rudest ever! If my mom had to deal with that after her surgery I would be pissed! Sadly this is the closest pharmacy to my mom but I will advise her to pick a location where employees are happy to be working.

Denise is the worst pharmacy technician ever she hates her job and her life. She was so rude, threw the medication in the basket and walked away even though I had more questions about a different medication. She seen me sitting there and didn't come to the window until I pressed the call button. She then said 2 words about my other medication which wasn't covered by insurance, printed it out walked away again didn't even ask if I needed anything else. I can't believe she works in the medical field. Definitely taking it up with corporate . I was so appalled.

As soon I get inside I've noticed a lot of shelves are pretty . Looks like the are closing the business. And a lot of stuff like soap, shampo are even in a glass storage that are locked. They are probably getting hit by thieves like they do in SF. Feel bad for the business and the consumers paying for the high price. Totally a big change now a days.

9628 Rosedale Highway. June 1, 2023. Let's call it like it is because, maybe it's the New York in me but, I can't tolerate BS or poor service, especially when snooty, Prima Donna employees forget that they're OVERHEAD and the CUSTOMERS are PROFIT. Welcome to the CVS Pharmacy at 9628 Rosedale Hwy. The STORE STAFF, in general, AWAY from the Prima Donnas at the Pharmacy...all good experiences with any of them anytime we've been in. The floor staff and everyone up front..terrific!! The Pharmacy? Uhhhh.......not so much (and I'm being kind giving them even THAT much). The gamut from complete indifference to outright rude; including the phone call my wife just made 25 minutes ago to see if the prescription the doctor called in was ready. FEMALE, UNNECESSARILY RUDE, CURT, INDIFFERENT. As soon as my wife said OK we'll pick it up...."CLICK." Nothing. Nada. Zip. No "OK, it's here when you're ready" (or anything similar). No verbiage of ANY kind -- no sound -- no grunts -- no guttural gruffness -- no acknowledgement at ALL of the CUSTOMER on the other end of the call....just..."CLICK". Management should be ashamed of having their company repped like this. I'm in the entertainment business, and having been in "service' to producers and studios and fulfilling their needs for DECADES, I KNOW what it takes to 'deliver' the goods as professionally as possible and build a reputation to be proud of. Attitude-wise? This CVS Pharmacy doesn't make the cut. Not even close. The female who answered the phone earlier obviously skipped class that day when they taught "customer service." And she's not the only one back there with that toxic attitude. When we experience great, even "GOOD" service, we tip HEAVILY and what's MORE -- we make SURE the restaurant owners, or business owners, managers, whomever etc. KNOW how great their staff performed; how terrific THAT team member performed. A CREDIT to the organization! Sadly, that's not the case at this CVS Pharmacy.
