Horrible customer service! Manager was acting aggressive. I was going to self check out and she said because I have too many things in my cart she doesn't trust I do it there?! There's no sign saying limit to items I was Easter basket filler shopping of course I had alot of things. What a way to tell your customers they aren't trusted.

They always close earlier than store hours indicate and don’t let people in. Terrible customer experience, along with other experiences. Why have hours if you’re not going to follow them?

Worst store in Bakersfield the store is so messy all the time the workers are miserable and all are slow the manager maria let's customers be stabbed outside her store by workers all over 1.25$ people be careful going here it's not safe.

I do not want to check myself out!!!!I actually forgot they only do self check out. I have not been to this particular in a long time. I usually travel further out of my neighborhood to another store that still has cashiers. I DO NOT like to do self checkout. I am retired. I wish that would be respected.

I had only a few bucks on me and I was on a very tight budget and time limit. I originally came here for floral foam for a gift. I was carrying around some hot glue sticks bc I thought I might need some for the gift I'm working on. I walked up to a worker and asked if they had any floral foam and she said they were out ( her hair looked bleached blonde and about between late 40-50s). So I thanked her and walked around for a bit. I was going to buy two items and saw the lines were a bit long for self check out I decided to leave the items because my time was up and I had to go pick up someone. So I went and put the items back both where they belonged. After I put them back I was leaving and pushing the door and as I was leaving the working that helped me earlier was helping at self check out. And got a bit loud at me saying "You're not buying the glue sticks anymore" and I said "No it's okay I only came here for floral foam" she then got more and more rude mumbling and putting her hand up and I felt like she thought I was stealing hot glue sticks that are literally $1.25 and I felt the need to tell her that she can search me and she just kept going "uh huh uh huh" with her hand up. She caused a scene and the customers at self check out had they're attention on me. She made me feel horrible. It's really unnecessary to judge people just because they're not purchasing something. Not everyone is stealing!

I wonder if they are thinking of changing their name now. Why you ask? Well, their merchandise is no longer priced at one dollar anymore. It is understandable, though, because the costs of everything including wages keep increasing. The retail price of $1.25 for the items is very fair and affordable. They carry just about anything you may need for your home. This Dollar Tree is not my favorite location. It is not the cleanest store, but it is pretty well organized. I like their self-checkout counters as well. I'll continue to shop for snacks here if I'm in the neighborhood.
