I love this store and the staff!!I just feel really bad they are always getting robbed and don't have any security to stop it. I think all dollar stores should be helped with the thieves.

It's the closest dollar store near my house. The store itself is clean and organized. There is a small frozen section too that has some breakfast items, meats, and little microwaveable meals. The way management seems to run the store is what makes me take off stars. There was one cashier ringing a line of 7, meanwhile one who says she is on break; sits at the checkout counter sippin Starbucks and watchin the other cashier work like a Christmas elf. 5 min or so later two other employees come from outside chatting and enjoying what I assume to be there break. Now... from a management point of view, why the hell are 3/4 people on break at one time leaving no coverage? Retrain them all. My cashier, Stasia kept a great upbeat personality even while being left for dead solo upfront. Even thou I was annoyed by the lack of efficiency at the checkout, her infectious smile still got me a crack a smile.

I been to a lot in Dollar store, and I think this is by far the cleanest and organized Dollar Store in Bakersfield. The staff are friendly and nice. This store have amost everything you need for your home and personal needs. So I definitely keep on coming back .

I Would Like To Send A HUGE Shout Out To Debbie At This Dollar Tree Location. Despite The Fact That She Was The Only Associate On The Register And She Had A HUGE Line, Debbie Nonetheless Has An Amazing Outlook. Debbie Was Very Friendly And Helpful. Really bad experience. I gave two stars because of the only lady that works there that is nice- however, she was not in today. I went to the store and it was al messy. I did not care because it looks like they are understaffed. However, I went to the snacks section and I've noticed that almost all of an entire brand of snacks were expired (today is 9/11, those expired 9/02) and I wanted to talk to somebody about that so they are aware. I was polite, but Bryan or Briant or the guy that was the manager/supervisor at the moment, was really rude to me. He told me: then pick another one. And gave me attitude. I was shocked so I didn't answer back and then he left. The cashier tried to apologize but I was just shocked. I just left my stuff in there (I put everything back tho, becuse it is not the cashier's fault) and I left. I know this review it's not going to hurt them, nobody it's going to talk with that guy about his manners, and no one would do anything about the expired products (I can understand one or two, but all of them?) But I wanted to warn anybody anyways. Hopefully his day will become better. I know what it's like to work on Sundays (I was just coming from work) but it's not our fault that he did not want to call out if he did not want to go. Or that he couldn't. So, good luck everybody else. ??♀️

I went in to pick up some storage containers and a birthday card. The nice lady in front of me wished me happy holidays and paid for my items it looks like there are still kind people in this crazy world we live in.
