Latalley at the Bakersfield airport took excellent care of me the last two weeks, thank you!!! I always fly in quite late, around 9pm every Tuesday, and she was able to quickly get me set up in a car and on the road. I always reserve a compact, but I was kindly sent out to a spacious Edge, great car. Enterprise is always reliable with cars that smell good (I'm allergic to smoke) and are spotless inside, with friendly associates. Great location. Super easy pick up and drop off on sight at the airport.

If I could give this place a zero I would.. I booked a car twice even confirmed my reservation twice and upon arrival they had no available car. The person at the desk was absolutely no help nor did he even care to help. Said a manager would contact me till the day no one has. HORRIBLE place!!. please save your time and go with budget a total difference experience with them.

I reserved online no problem to show up and then to tell me they don't accept Debit/Credit cards but Credit only cards. Even though it allowed me to use it online and nowhere online does it say they only take straight credit cards. I've learned no place at the airport takes the Debit/ Credit cards any more and all the other rental places around town close at 5pm and aren't open on weekends. I would have been stuck had this been the case when I was in another state. Not everyone has Credit Cards.

Terrible. I had a reservation and arrived (all by myself). Apparently the enterprise employee didn't like my temporary drivers license that the DMV gave me and kept brushing me aside that I would need to come back another day. After showing CC receipts, looking my into up in the DMV system, showing insurance, passport, and old drivers license, the manager agreed and the employee still begrudgingly accepted the reservation. Looking at other major companies they strictly state they accept temporary licenses as long as they are accompanied by secondary ID. I don't know why they have to make this as difficult as it was, especially when traveling alone. The employee wanted me to go back to the DMV and get a social security / birth certificate quality temporary license, which is not possible as I am picking up a car at the airport so I am clearly not from the area. After getting them to accept the reservation, the employee cancelled the reservation and changed all my information without my knowledge. He changed the drop-off location from my original reservation and more importantly changed the rate that I had secured with my cooperate discount.I find it frustrating that the employee repeatedly told me "he couldn't help me today" instead of trying to work with me to find a solution. What does "can't help me today" even mean? You're just the front desk person and the manager isn't in? Or do I need to provide more information? There's a very big difference. It's also frustrating to be told I need to fly back to Nebraska and get a temporary license with seals stamped... I can't do that and it's not what they give out for a 1-2 week license. If the TSA and DMV, and other rental agencies are okay with this, why aren't you? It's also frustrating that even after the manager give the okay the employee keeps bemoaning the reservation as if he can't do it. Tell me you can or can't, and if you can't, help me find a solution. Don't just brush me off, then complain to me that you have to fulfil my reservation all the while redoing the entire contract I had setup. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The service here is always great. Cars are always clean and nice. $400 deposit requirement is outrageous. I rent from here at least 4 times a year. Steven the manager is always amazing. But the $400 deposit, will lose my business.

Short wait at the desk to get to the clerk. Friendly clerk. He told me to go to # so and so to get my car, that part was over with quick. Then I go outside to # so and so, and there is no car waiting there - seems like someone done grand theft auto'ed things out from under me. So I briskly sashayed back into the counter while he is with another customer, tell him we have a problem, and then he comes outside with me to confirm that there is no car in the spot he told me to go to. He eventually figured out where the car was, not in the spot where he told me it would be, and I am not a gat dang lost car detective.Returning the vehicle was much smoother. Friendly (different) clerk who checked in the car and said she would e-mail my receipt so I could get it reimbursed before I would even be through security, which she did.Besides the problem with the missing car at the beginning that took some unnecessary additional time, that was making me later than I already was from all of the delays etc. with the airlines, this was an overall good experience as usual with Enterprise, unlike the Daedric/dystopian/eldritch nightmare that Hertz is always ready to unleash on you as a customer.

EXCELLENT experience, exceeded expectations. I was hesitant to rent a car from Enterprise after having a particularly bad experience with the Reno Airport location. However, this Enterprise location in the Bakersfield Airport provided amazing service for my 8-day minivan rental. The desk staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond, whether by phone or in person. I admit I complained rather loudly when the Reno location did me dirty, so now I will loudly shout the praises of this Bakersfield location. They rock, and I hope to have the pleasure of renting a vehicle from this Enterprise location again in the future.

Vanessa was very helpful and ensured that we could pick up a car after closing time due to a late flight.

They don't tell you about how you have to refill the tank upon return. Had to drive back to a gas station and refill. Then they don't tell you that you have to write down the number of miles on the car so I had to back to the car again and find that info. Terrible clerk

I would not give this location 1 star. Dory has the worst customer service and the Store Manager Steven did not try to resolve the customer service issue. A customer service reset needs to be re-evaluated.

I got there early, so they were going to charge me an extra day for a couple of hours. So I had to leave, wait two hours, and drive across town again to pick it up. This is what kills businesses. Using fine print to screw the customers.

Worst service ever!!! Te costumer service is horrible when you call them they say “yes we have the car and then when you go for pick it up they say “ we have this” . And then the car had a problem issue 40 minutes before arrive Las Vegas ,enterprise just let me alone with the problem they send me a truck for pick up the rent car but there was no Uber for pick up us . I take the decision to drive to Las Vegas but when I go to the agency to change the car they just give me a mini van when I rent a car for 8 passengers!!!! Don’t waste your money. Go to another place!!!!

Absolutely do not use this location. They are rude and unhelpful. Also they have rules that are different then a regular location!!!! I filled up the gas 1 line above where it was given to me as I always do. They said because it's an airport you have to fill it to a full tank. B.S. it wasn't even given to me at a full tank.

I know this location has low ratings but trust me they are in MUCH better hands now. I never liked renting from this location because some of the employees were rather rude and hard to work with BUT it looks like these employees are no longer here and if you happen to be getting taken care of by steven, you are in good hands ? don’t let the ratings fool you, customer service is excellent here.
