I have stayed here multiple times over the years. From the time it opened it's doors to present day.And like every new hotel, eventually it is going to get old. Perfect example: ESA. It's still a good hotel...it's just tired. Furnishings are a little dated. A little drafty. Missing the little things that used to be there...a coffee maker in the room. A microwave. But the rooms here with the Kitchenette are nice. They still don't have a coffee maker in the room. Only a small fridge. There are no utensils bowls or pots and pans. But you know if you were staying for awhile I'm sure the front desk has a box of that stuff for each room with a kitchen.Big, big gap under the room door...who knows what could crawl in during the night? Lol.Over all it's a nice enough place to lay your head down for about $100.....

There are many terrible hotels in Bakersfield. It was clean, no bugs, no roaches. Congratulations you met the minimum standards. The Homeless situation is very bad. Not safe. Hire security. Never ever again

Building was ADA Compliant, However room doors themselves were too heavy for me to open. Hotel staff was extremley helpful, polite and accomodating. More helpful than my own family.Bathroom was very roomy for the disabled. Nice safe area. Security on site. Abundant shopping and restraunts in close proximity to hotel.

Great room designs that make you feel at home . And with it being next to the freeway makes it easy to travel from one part of town to the next .Nearby activities: Located right next to a couple of food spots and massage parlors

I really like staying here at Extended Stay America, the staff especially Ana, and Sierra are exceptionally courteous. They always greet me with a smile and helpful attitude. The housekeeping staff are also very polite and good at their jobs. Besides the trains crashing into each other 24/7, this place is cool.

It's a good place to stay in the rooms are clean and air conditioned the only thing I don't like is that at the bottom of the doors there's a gap big enough for small bugs who do come in a few times a month but there are no more than two other than that I'm comfortable ana is fun to talk

This place is so unique. Everyone here is such a force to be reckoned with. Ana and Sierra and this one tall girl w curly hair and pretty eyes in the front are the best hands down.

Sketchy activity all over the parking lot - A guy laying there with bare feet, beaten down motor homes with people camping in them in lot adjacent to parking lot. Another guy coming in and out of his room with a large knife on his belt. A guest with his pants hanging down low past the bottom of his butt. A lady dressed like a prostitute with a fat belly hanging out of skimpy clothes. People screaming late at night. Office is closed at 7 PM and says "out to lunch - back at 8 PM". Pretty much everybody is sketchy here - signs all over the parking lot and in the rooms remind you that people are dishonest and that your valuables are not safe here. As a bonus, there was a cockroach in my room. Do not ever stay here. Unsafe, dirty, and completely lacking in class.

What do you expect at a weekly? Room was small. Couldn't sleep bc of other guests and the 1st 3 days I kept checking on my car. Turns out it was safe the entire week. Bedding was a 3/10 and it just felt dirty. I bleached everything and used my own EVERYTHING except bed. 2 eye electric stove top and a microwave. Oh yeah you have to call into the inside from a phone on the wall if you want to check in after hours. That tells you about the safety.
