Attempted to visit on 2nd March 2020 and store was not open. We waited for an hour past the advertised opening time, but still not open. No one in the surrounding shops could tell us why they were closed or when they would open. Very disappointed. Wasted trip out to Bakersfield

hello Bakersfield, ca. want to tell you about my SCREWED experience with fanz.... now owned by lids corporation....i went on 2-2-20 to buy a jersey on super bowl sunday... I purchase a super bowl red jersey..paid a $129.00 ..... got there store credit card a big fuc??en MISTAKE.. I will never go back to the sores or even the online service... the people who works at valley plaza where so bad and supid i give them the RIGHT EMAIL ADRESS AND THEY HAD MY NUMBER ALSO.. and when purchased was completed i was told 7 to 10 days delivery of jersey... never got a email or a freaken phone call to make sure delivery of jersey. They got email address WRONG..I told them the right email... the bad thing about all this they would not give there gift card to get something eles store in ca... i got online cert to shop online only.... whatever. NOT SHOPPING AT FANZ VALLEY PLAZA BAKERSFIELD.CA

There isn't a zero or I'd go with that. So I went to purchase a last minute gift for Christmas...I'm new to Yelp or I would've done this sooner. Computer goes down in the middle of my transaction but I immediately pull up my bank account and it shows my purchase pending. They could'nt let me leave with the item because it could go back from pending so I had to wait 2 days which I wasn't happy about having to return to the mall so James the supervisor says he will mail it to me if it goes through. Purchase posted to my account so he was mailing it to me. After a week or 2 I call back at this point Christmas has past but I still want the item I paid for. He had sent it to a wrong address and it returned so he would resend it. Needless to say I never received it. I will NEVER go back there I'd rather order online and I sure let people know the shady business they run there.

I bought some very affordable, nice joggers for $15 +tax. I like them, although the waist lining was too tight and they are difficult to pull up. They aren't very stretchy, and the next size was too loose. There's definitely a give and take for them, but worth what I paid for them.

My bank account statement shows this store double charged my account for a purchase made Dec 21. I called the store manager, James, and was told I needed to come down to the store in person to have the charge reversed. I go to the store 2 days later and am told because James isn't in they can't help me. I asked them to contact James to fix it. Over the phone James told the employee that I need to leave my contact info and credit card info and he will call me later. Ok, now we can handle this on the phone? They said I needed to show my bank statement. I could've emailed that or sent a screen shot. I ask for Corporate's contact info. James says he doesn't know it, I need to look on the website. I looked 2 days ago and there is no Customer Service contact info. I ask again for contact info and am told I need to go to the website. I ask the store employee to go to the website and show me where the Customer Service contact is. He says the website is down without even looking. Ok, so if you can't look at it, how is a customer supposed to look at it? I ask him to ask James for a better answer, who is his boss? Who is their contact person? James (remember, he's the store manager) doesn't know and has no contact info. This sounds like fraud to me and if I do not receive a refund of the double charge (THEIR MISTAKE) I will contact the Better Business Bureau. Do not ever do business with a store that is willing to double charge and not be in any hurry to correct it or provide decent customer service. I wonder if this was even an accidental charge??

Wasn't even looking to really buy anything out of here but noticed they a pretty good sale going on and ended up buying 2 hats and some other things. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
