I've been coming to this store for years and it's always a great experience. I grab my late-night snacks here a few times a week and the store associate Michael is always super friendly and helpful. He's knowledgeable about the products and makes shopping easy. This Fastrip location is definitely my favorite in town!

Just saw the post that the store was closed and wanted to make it clear to everyone....the store ONLY closes when the floors are getting done!!! AND MICHAEL, VICKIE AND JODY ARE THE BEST PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE.

I went into this Fastrip this weekend and was helped by a woman named Jody (or Judy) and also the woman working with her, I forgot her name, but they were so nice and helpful! I needed help trying to find the right pack of cigarettes, and Jody(?) totally broke them all down for me so I didn’t buy the wrong kind for my girlfriend (I know nothing about cigarettes lol), and Jody’s partner that night was so nice to me, chit chatting with me while ringing me up, I really appreciated the friendliness! Thanks for the great service :)

Very rude cashiers. I had some change with me I wanted to use to buy gas and the Hispanic lady was like we don’t take change, I said why she said because it needs to be rolled up and I’m like really and the other cashier also Hispanic guy was like if you only have change we can not serve you. Management can do better.

There are 2 cashiers at the location that are rude. The red head w glasses & the Hispanic girl that wears the ponytail. These ladies have consistently harass customers, myself as well. Tried banning customers from the store after they had behaved inappropriately. In my specific situation, I was buying cigarettes with my card and requested credit because there is no fee. The cashier requested my ID it was in the car, so I requested the change to debit. The cashier refused, so I went to the car and retrieved my ID. Once I reached the counter, I requested my purchase again. She requested my ID, and when presented, she snatched it from my hand, I called her out on it. Once she handed back, I snatched it from her. Needless to say, she wasn't pleased. She canceled my purchase & told me to leave. She is refusing service. I stated to her why when I give you the same treatment you gave me, it's a problem? I pushed my purchase over the counter to the floor, and now additional co-workers have come over, telling me she is pregnant and don't do that, yelling get out & I'm not allowed to patronize this store, this happen July 6th. Fast forward to today (Oct. 5th), on my way to work, not wanting to go to this locate, I go in to get cigarettes. One of the co- workers that was there on 7/5 recognized me, I am not in her line, she takes care of her customers then comes to the register I am at, speakes to her co-worker as she is ringing up my purchase, grabs the cigarettes from the counter then proceeds to ask me in front of other customers if I remember the incident in July & did I apologize. I couldn't believe she would reprimand me. I said yes and was allowed to make my purchase, then she went back to her register to wait on customers. I told the cashier that was waiting on me to let her know I would like to speak with her & waited until she was done serving her customers. I attempted to have a conversation about what just happened, To no avail was this conversation civil on the cashier 's behalf. She continued to speak loudly as I attempted to address her current behavior, her co-workers's behavior & horrific customer service. I would kindly request that you don't patronize this location until management addresses the issues with employees. I will continue to seek out assistance by contacting the corporation office and management. I have proof of these incidents, and I will continue to address these issues at this location until we can patronize this store in our neighborhood and be treated as decent and respected customers. I am sure several customers have experienced the same type of customer service, or there would not be some many bad reviews. I frequent several FastStrip throughout Bakersfield, and by far, it is the worst but most convenient. I have patronized this store since 2015 and never have had these issues until these ladies became part of the TEAM!

I went to get gas before work and ended up being late because the rude redhead was outside and would not come inside so a can pay for my items and my gas so i had to leave and go somewhere else that resulted in me being late ro work if in a hurry dont go here they are rude and dont value your time
