The one start is for the customer service & is only for one specific old short lady thats been working there for many years. She acts like she owns the place, is very rude everytime i go, my mom & some friends have had the same experience, she talks with zero manners, never helpful, just arrogant & very rude.
Just today, i found a boot & was asking her if by any chance if they found the other one to just put it away for me, i would pay for it & she said we only sell by pairs so if one is missing than maybe i would want to go look for it all over the store instead of asking her. Then i found a baby robe, wasnt priced so i asked her for the price and she said only the person by the register can answer you that let me do what im doing here (she was hanging some shirts) & she told me to go ask in front bc she did not know .
So i go to the front and ask the girl by the register and she said she has no idea on the price so she calls somebody on the radio, guess who came up, that same mexican old lady that i had just asked, & then she gives me the price. How ridiculous is that? .
A lady behind me showed her some jeans that were missing a zipper & she asked if theres any discount bc of that, the lady said that nobody at the store have control over the prices & if she dont like how is price why bother to ask bc she not gonna do anything about it. I was very upset at her attitude. And it is like that everytime shes there. .. so my one star is for her, she makes the place feel umwelcoming, prices are a lil high but it is the goodwill in my opinion with better clothes. I always find a nice shirt or two. So im okay with the prices, everythings expensive nowadays.. i do believe that lady needs to be fired bc shes very disrespectful and the other employees trained better.

I had purchased a wireless trashcan and I even asked the cashier she was white and skinny she had glasses on. She told me it should work with the batteries so I’m thinking that they know it works. I took it home. It did not work whatsoever. They did not refund me my money back. I still got attitude after I told her if they can please trash it for me because I can’t throw away metal objects in my trash bin she gave me a mean attitude I then asked to talk to the manager, who said it was fine for her to trash it, but the employee there was very disrespectful

My wife and I stopped by on Friday November 15 2024 everything was fine until we were ready to pay for our items they girl helping us was nice and polite but the girl named Sophie or Sophia at the next register who had her own customer was more concerned about what we were purchasing making this visit actually uncomfortable I'm not sure if she was training the other girl or not but it was annoying enough that it will be some time before we visit this location again.

If you are donating I would suggest you bring someone to help you. I went to donations and the worker was rushing me lol and I was putting everything in the bin by myself and taking furniture out by myself. The worker just stood there.

This store has ridiculous prices on the stuff that have been given to them for free, don't matter what their mission is
of "none profit organization". People are not coming from Hollywood but are locals that shop here.
I call it simply Corporate Greet,
won't donate here anymore neither shop.
In addition, observed under the table dealing between Cashier and "Customer"
as mentioned by one person in the review.
Shame on Goodwill!!!

Very confused on the prices. Too expensive. We go to shop at Goodwills and thrift stores to try and save money, but it’s the opposite. I have walked out empty handed the last 4 times. A old dirty purse for $10.99? A old wall sconce, $8.99? Is the person who prices a trained pricer is there is such a thing? There should be a straight across price for items regardless of the name brand. After all, everything is donated if I’m correct. Large purses, medium purses and small. No longer shopping at this store and spreading the word.
So the response was that I was supporting helping others? I shop to support myself and not to spend a lot. I don’t shop there to support other programs. So basically the prices can be whatever they want it to be? Again, I will not be shopping at goodwills anymore and I know a lot of people feel the same way. Thanks for the respond Owner

The people in person are great! Management & Corporate are horrible!! They would not grant me an extension to their 30 day pick up policy on items I had purchased through their auction website. They said they were forcing me to re-donate the items I purchased since I they denied my request for a pick up extension, that's not right.
