Rooms are worn and not very clean. The carpet needs to be replaced and microwave doesnt work properly. Just not what you expect from the Hampton.

The Rates could be adjusted with others in immediate area it's starting to show it's age or for better terms (WEAR) carpets are stained up pretty good was in a couple of rooms during stay both had what looked like dead skin or some white powder around base boards beds for better terms are WORN OUT Breakfast is just nasty same premade food as 8 years agoStaff is friendly but it's just not as nice as it once was site says No pets allowed but some on the 4th floor had a barking small dog ?

The hotel room I had #313 was disgusting to say the least. The hotel staff was completely unhelpful and rude. They refused a manager to speak to. I called Expedia and they refused a refund. The sheets were dirty, the bed box was nasty and I have attached a photo. The room smelled like smoke and it is a non-smoking hotel. The bathroom had urine and stains on the floor. The ceiling was stained. I called for multiple days trying to get a manager and finally had to call the corporate number to get help and a refund. I have stayed at many Hampton properties nationwide and this is by far the worst in cleanliness and staff ability.

The front desk was no help whatsoever and our room was awful it had a disgusting mattress that was completely stained, the room and floors were stained also, the bathroom was also horrible the ceiling had urine and on the floor was hair and stained bathroom glass absolutely disgusting.

The experience overall was less than desirable. The hotel appeared to be clean at first but once I tried to use the shower I discovered it wasn’t cleaned properly. The front desk receptionist actually come up to check this out and moved us to a different room. However the TV was not working and this shower had hair on the wall of the shower of the 2nd room. She apologized and said she would be speaking to the manager of housekeeping asap. The location was close to freeway but it’s a toss up on the rooms and cleanliness. That’s a must especially for the rates. I will never stay at this location again and yes I am a valued Hilton rewards member.

I called a few days before to ask about EV charging. I was told they are available at the hotel, so I booked a night on a road trip. When we arrived I was told they’d been broken for over a week. Not cool. Bakersfield has no Tesla superchargers which is surprising for the size. The ones listed online as Bakersfield aren’t IN the city, they are near I-5. The hotel facilities were fine, but the front desk should know this since it’s listed as an amenity of the hotel.

I made a reservation at 10:30 am for one night. My car broke down which meant I could not be there. I called at 12:30 pm to cancel and was informed that full payment would be charged to my credit card. I was NOT informed at the time of my booking of this ridiculous cancellation policy. I will never book with this hotel again..
