We started our change from Verizon to T-Mobile Oct 26 and we still have not completed it. On top of that now Verizon just took $1240 out of my account to pay for my old phones that T-Mobile said they would pay off. Hopefully we'll get through this and things will improve with T-Mobile🤞. So far ☹️👎!

Liz is very unprofessional and obviously doesn't know how to do her job correctly I lost a device then came to this location to get a new phone I was charged the activation fee and for the new device and monthly bill then the next day my phone was off so I came to the store to figure out what happened then Liz tells me I never paid the monthly bill payment that was just fees and taxes but couldn't show me what I paid for the day before just kept giving me the run around about how I didn't pay the bill but said I need to pay the bill because I never paid it when I clearly did she Said I was only charged 25$ for the activation fee when I was charged 69$ which the same exact as my phone bill I'm going to take legal action if I'm not compensated

Went in to transfer number to different phone. Amazon sent me a locked phone so they were unable to complete the set up however I was already charged $25.01 they said to call customer service for refund. Went home called customer service after 30 min of run around they wouldn’t give me a refund told me have to go back to store. Since it is after 7pm going 1st thing tomorrow. Will update if resolved!

I wasin this store just after 4pm today and the male and female employees that were working were rude as hell and incompetent. The female when i showed her my phone was rude and asked what I wanted her to do about it because I had the audacity to ask for help when she was to busy talking to the male employee about Apple Play. Then the male employee mocked me when I asked the female to please gold on when I was trying to get my phone to turn on.I have never been treated so poorly in all the years I have been a customer of this location. They both need to be fired!!!!! I am never coming to this storeaagain even though it's real close to my house. I will gladly waste my gas and drive across town for better service. This location has lost my business forever. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

This store gives metro a bad name. No initiative no drive for excellence, no clue about customer service. (now calling for customer service is total opposite. Phone support is 15 out of 10).There's so much wrong I can't list all. Do yourself a favor, stay away.

After a costly and horrendous ordeal with TracFone/SafeLink Wireless, I decided to go back to traditional type service I walked into Metro by T Mobil located at 3750 Ming Ave, Bakersfield, CA on 12/3/21. I stepped up to the counter and stated I would like to start new service with the free phone when you switch promotion. I added, I'd like to keep my number. What was supposed to be a free phone, cost me $107 before leaving the store. This promotion is nothing more than a bait and switch operation to lure in gullible customers. I chose a Nokia X100. I was told in order to get the free phone, I must buy a $60 monthly plan. I stated I can't afford that and the salesperson said not to worryafter the first month I could choose a lesser plan. She added, if you want a lesser plan now, you'll have to pay full price for the phone which was $189 plus tax. I didn't get a contract, but when I got the receipt, it was unbelievable.. I was charged $70 for a $60 plan that I scammed into buying. I declined insurance and was charged for insurance anyways. Their rationale for imposing insurance when I had declined was that it was policy. I was charged for a case that was supposedly free when I sign up for auto pay. Subtotal was $85 plus I was charged $22 sales tax. I tried to discuss the bill but the saleslady talked over me and much faster.. customers were piling up so I was passed off to someone else . The phone works for outgoing calls, I can call out but incoming calls do not reach me. People claim the phone rings when calling me but I can't hear it, my phone never light up. I'm going back tomorrow for a refund or exchange because I got nowhere yesterday. I left feeling foolish and frustrated.

Stay away from this location, I don't even recommend Metro anymore just because of this location. My daughter's phone stopped working so I took it in to get a replacement. The guy told me it would be 7-10 business days, but they would text & call me to let me know when the phone arrives. On day 10(June 4th) I hadn't heard anything from them so I called. The guy I talked to said they don't have the phone, they are still waiting for it but that he will have the Manager(Lucia) call me back. Still never received a text, call, voicemail, or anything. Waited an additional 5 business days and called back, this time I talked to Lucia and she told me they sent my phone back & said they couldn't get a hold of me. But on top of that, she said they received the phone on the 2nd and sent it back on the 7th, which is funny because I called on the 4th to check and my phone wasn't there. Also, they said I had to pay $24 for taxes and shipping but I found out today that I didn't have to, there are actually two options, but they made me do the one where they get the replacement phone right away instead of me just sending mine in to get it fixed. Idk if they are scamming insurance companies to get free unlocked phones and say they are lost in the mail or what, but they are definitely doing something fishy. So whatever you do, stay away from this location. I filed a report so hopefully I can get them investigated for insurance fraud.
