Visited my parents who lives in the area & I had signed up for a bootcamp class through Classpass at 7am. Had picked an early time so my kids would still be sleeping. Arrived at the studio 15min early and the gates were locked. So I waited in my car for a while thinking maybe they're late. Contacted 2 different phone numbers listed on Yelp and classpass. No answer. Stayed until 7:10am and still no sign of anyone in the studio. I left disappointed. No notification of class cancelation! Suckie part of this was that I had prepared & had some energy drink before arriving to the studio. I think this was very unprofessional for a business. Super disappointed!

Hot yoga classes are my favorite. They also have numerous other classes. TRX, spin, HIIT, boot camp, barre etc. instructors are friendly and welcoming. It feels like everyone is here to workout and have fun. Not a meat market like some of the other gyms I’ve been to.

Another ClassPass yoga class. It was my first time to try hot yoga flow and I loved it! Lynne provided easy to follow instructions, the room was big enough and the temperature for me was just right. I thought the room would be too hot to be comfortable but it was just perfect, especially coming in on a rainy Saturday morning. I love how it was dark in the room, making me less self-conscious, considering it is my first time to try hot yoga. The cool towels at the end were so nice. I definitely left feeling more relaxed!

Great place. It has all the makings of what you need. I have a bad knee, you can modify. Don’t feel like going hard, modify. I go with my teenage daughters to my mother in law (no age-??)…. Everybody is friendly and will help you reach your goals. You won’t be disappointed.

Pretty bad experience. I signed up for a class on classpass, when I got to the studio 30 min before the class, they were closed and the entire place was empty. No one informed me that the studio would be closed. Very disappointed. I also made multiple attempts to call the studio, there was no answer.

Katie's awesome challenges have helped my wife do an incredible job in the past! We've moved since, but She is hard-core like UFC and she's absolutely perfect for what she does! Her and her husband are a blessing to the world!

Motiv8 has become my new home. I love all the classes, and the fact that there are so many options. Boot camp, spin, hiit, piyo, TRX, core/booty targeted classes, and my favorite yoga flow is the best way to recover from the above classes. Aside from the variety of classes, everyone is welcoming and helpful. I’m so happy I have found such a positive facility for my me time.

Spin class with April was so good today at 4am. Can't wait to try other classes. There were more people than I expected there for it being so early in the am, which I appreciated because I love group workouts!

April Morphis is absolutely amazing! She is motivating, strong, and kind. The times I’ve been to Motiv8 I have left with a rejuvenating mind, body, and soul. I would highly recommend anyone from beginners to the advanced expert in exercise to join this club. You will not regret it.

I did a trial membership and took two classes. The first class I took (Bootcamp) was taught by Katie, whom I assume is the owner. It wasn't a bad class by any means, and it certainly was effective (I was sore for 5 days), however, there were just a few things that I didn't like and that ultimately turned me off to committing to a contract. The first was the newcomer approach. When I arrived at the gym I did the warm-up run and then was not greeted or acknowledged by Katie at all before the circuits started. It was pretty obvious that everyone else in the class had been there for a while, and as she was shouting out exercises in the circuit, I honestly had no clue what was happening. Much like a dance class, I just watched everyone else in my group and did what they did. Not horrible, but definitely uncomfortable. I assumed that, because of the large group, she may not have been aware that I was new. But, about halfway through the class, I dropped my phone and she addressed me by name and asked if it was mine. So, clearly, she knew who I was and knew it was my first time.Another small detail I didn't personally appreciate was the coaching style of the bootcamp. There was one particularly difficult exercise in a circuit that about half the group was struggling to do. I've been to enough personal trainers to know that there are modifications to every exercise, but, rather than offer another way to workout that muscle, Katie yelled at us that if our "butt wasn't in the air, then nothing is happening". Now, I understand this style of coaching, but trying to do an exercise you can't do is a quick way to an injury, and not providing a modification is, to me, a poor way to respond to a struggling class. I just wasn't impressed. The other detail that made me not willing to commit to a contract was the group taking the classes. This, ultimately, is not within the owner's (Katie's?) control, but I do think she should be aware of it enough to compensate. The crowd is very "cliquey". Very typical stay-at-home-mom, highschool-esque vibe which is not welcoming to newcomers. If you are male, you probably won't notice or care (the men were nice to me), but a woman coming alone will feel uncomfortable if she is paying attention or sensitive to people's energy.Overall, I gave three stars because the classes provided solid workouts. After all, that's really the point. If you are a stunning, confident, extroverted individual just looking to get a sweat on - this place is perfect! But, if you are someone who needs more inclusivity, or are at the beginning stages of your fitness journey and want a tamer, more understanding gym, I would not recommend Motiv8.
