The groomer basically cut all of my sweet Valentino's hair, he had beautiful hair he was left with very short hair that they couldn't fix it. It was a nightmare. He couldn't even attend his play date out in West Hollywood. As for my Maltipoo they had to fix his patches of hair. The groomers name is Melissa she ruined my little Valentino, I was so emotional because he looks like a bald chihuahua. This is the worst grooming service ever!

Last minute Sunday appointment was a pleasant surprise! My dog was exceptionally hyoer first time in the store and all staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Price was reasonable as well

I have been going to this branch to get aquarium supplies and fish as well since Santos assisted us at the store. He is very knowledgable and patient in answering my questions since I am new in the fish keeping hobby. I didn't feel rushed and I feel that I have brought products right for my fish and my budget.

the store is nice but they need to put their workers in check. there was a really rude employee with multi colored hair and she gave the dirtiest death stare when i asked her where something was. it's not like i was asking for much, just for her to do her job. people like this make me never go back to places so i hope she gets taken out of any type of customer service job.

THREE STRIKES, YOU'RE OUT!Well the first time I took my mini schnauzer they did ok. The second time it was ok but it was done quick, which I think about it now is not too good. So the 3rd time I go in start talking to a butcher, oh I mean groomer and you know she sold a good story used a couple of key sounding grooming tech words had me feeling good that my dog was in good hands. So I come in to pick up my mini schnauzer and out comes a chihuahua looking dog WT# happened. I could of sworn that it was said that she would come out with a lil bit of a Schnauzer skirt. Nope butchered to a No.1. I asked to keep the eyelashes if any just trim to even out. See pic. So yeah no more business for Gosford Petco. The workers are overworked and don't have the right equipment. I heard this from the horses mouth.

While this business pretends to care for animals, they will not donate torn animal food bags to organizations that feed abandoned animals, they throw them away. Please support Tractor Supply as they actually care for animals.

I recently purchase a pet for my child at petco, service is awful. Samantha has a horrible attitude when you ask her questions. However Marlow the manager has always been helpful. Unfortunately you have to deal with employees who don't like their job. Will start going to petsmart instead.

So this review is for the grooming services, I had the pleasure of having Melissa and she took such good care of my dog. She was also very great about making us feel at ease with this being her first visit, as well as answering all my questions. She was the best at making sure she knew what I wanted done with her hair and showed me samples of how short the hair would be. The bows on my Pam were such a cute addition and showed how much care she put into her work

Special shout out to the store manager MARLO, for taking the time, care, and professional expertise to contact customer service on the phone to successfully process a return item. For some reason it would not scan correctly, and was popping up on the register as another item (?!?). Marlo stayed on the phone until the credit was rendered and back on my credit card. Phenomenal customer service such as this goes far above and beyond the norm of what is expected. Marlo exceeded every mark with her superior customer service and exemplary knowledge and skills. Marlo is an invaluable manager, and having this type of loyal and invested associate on your team is like a finding a needle in a haystack, or seeing a unicorn (probably something a PETCO manager has probably actually SEEN!). Marlo, and this superlative store where service and the patron are obviously a priority, is the store I will continue to visit and shop. Thank you for all you did today. Truly, you are a bright spot in a tired and weary world. Keep shining!!

Highly recommend RITA from the grooming department! She is the sweetest and most welcoming person! Anything that I've asked to be done during a grooming appt. for my doggies she gets done and she does a heck of a GREAT job at it! Thank you so much for always being so friendly!!

I wish I caught the gals and gentlemens names but the stylists they have in here right now are awesome! SO KIND to my dogs and parents dogs and they all came out so calm, smooth, and clean! So happy! I've had so many issues at other places with my dogs getting cut and they come out so nervous. Both my dogs coats look better than I've ever seen them. :) Super satisfied. Also, the petco app has a generous rewards program now; nice plus!

This is a review for grooming services and includes particular praise for Roger. We take two dogs here frequently. It's close to our house and they are good about seeing both dogs at the same time. They don't get haircuts but they get everything else done there. The dogs are always a little nervous to go but once they're in the groomers hands they do just fine. We have come to really like Roger as their groomer. Roger is patient, kind to us and the dogs, and is extremely intelligent about animals needs and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. He has pointed out a couple of things to us about the dogs and always provides great recommendations for preventative care and is honest about everything we may ask. The folks at reception area are always so kind and make it easy for us to get reminders for appointments, they don't try to upsale us but they do let us know our options. They are great to remind us about vet records and they are very throughout with communicating. We've never had any issues regarding payments or issues with our dogs. There have been a couple of knit picky things if another groomer misses it but they always take care of it and I can tell they work hard to make our pups comfortable and come home smelling good and fresh. I have no hesitation about bringing my dogs here. I know there are local groomers and people that go to your house, etc but for the price and the consistency we get here it's worth it to us!
