Angela is the best! She has to take the blood from the veins of my hands. She is always kind and tries her best to make the experience less painful. I always make an appointment online and I get in and out less than 5 minutes.

They were not professional, I didn't have an appointment. I did check in and and the kisok said they would fit me in. In between all this an employee came came out twice and locked the door. I could hear the employees complaining in the back about getting to lunch, and how there were still people waiting out in the lobby (me). Then after waiting about 10 minutes, from walking in someone comes out and said they didn't have time for me because of their lunch break and I was asked to leave. Why didn't the person who locked the door say something to ke the first time. ? very rude. I hate that my doctor wants me to go to Quest. I will ask to go to Westec next time, since they have always been nice and professional. Maybe post a sign that says clossed for lunch!

The first day I came and waited I waited 20 min (no apparent which is understandable) the phlebotomist called me began asking what my labs were for, who sent them and what insurance I have and she has the WRONG patient open. Made me sit back out in the waiting room and then when they called me they didn’t have my lab slip.So I come back after the doctor states that they sent it. I checked in again without an appointment. They “scheduled” me for 8:40 am. I got here at 7:25 waited until 8 am with everyone else getting called. So I went to work and came back at 8:40 when I got back my name was REMOVED from the board. I knocked on the door to ask the phlebotomist if I would be called and have to wait and she was rude and refused to tell me how much longer I would wait. And even raised her voice at me. After telling me that she would not tell me how many people were above me or how long saying “no I will not tell you” she went in the back and began to talk about me to the other phlebotomist. They called two other people who were not here at 7:30 when I checked in.

You can't just walk in for lab work. You have to call and make an appointment. You cannot speak with a real person. Everyone else has gone back to pre COVID walk ins but Quest.

Super quick and the lady was really nice she made the blood labs go super smooth with my son. The place was clean and had hand sanitizer available for you to sanitize

I've been here a few times for all the testing of being a kidney donor. They are slow, seem confused, and communicate poorly. One time,, the very short gal encouraged me to drive 10 min away to a place that was open during lunch (I live 4 min from this one tho!), saying she will be lunching at 11:30, but MAYBE could stay a min late to do my blood draw right at 11:30, but insisted the other places have many more techs so it wouldn't be long...well i waited 45 min to be seen there after all! By the end of the 3 blood draws i had fasted until nearly 3pm. Later i look up their hours just to drop off a collection and they actually lunch at 11:45, BUT locked their doors early. The donor process had me going to Quest...I will never chose Quest based on this location!WestPac Labs is SO much better!! I'm glad MY insurance gave me the choice! You can scan your ID card to check-in! (Unlike Quest where you type in your phone number, full name, and birthdate EVERY SINGLE TIME. During COVID I don't think I saw the tech clean that touch screen once while I've waited multiple times for blood draws, to pick up, and drop off specimens. Oh, but they do have a bottle of hand sanitizer! While I was there i witnessed a guy with disabilities who couldn't speak for himself, so his helper did everything, brought him in for a vitamin D shot I overheard, but his disability makes him unable to wear a mask. The tech just said "it's our policy" and the handicapped guy and helper left. How much effort did it take for those 2 to get to that lab, and how much little effort would it have taken to find a solution to accommodate the mentally disabled person and his helper?UPDATE: I dropped my 2 star rating down to 1 since I went to drop off my specimen (which MUST be received by the lab within 24 hours of collection) and they had locked up early! And they aren't even open the next day. It took me a minute to think of taking a picture to time stamp it. Yes I was last minute but that's bc I didn't expect such an early close time. Still, I was there before closing as my picture shows. Sure, maybe people walk in late and detain them after hours SOMETIMES but why not be open as the paper on their door, (and Google maps shows) for those that have a drop off or pickup! Well, thank God another loc was open a half hour longer. Funny thing is I drove 10 more mins from my house and that loc seemed to have no confusion and was quick.Perhaps the 1st loc wants people to go elsewhere to lighten their workload...but they should figure things out, and not take their job for granted by closing early.

I use only Quest diagnostics for my bloodwork. My UCLA doctors say that they are the preferred lab for all the providers. I like the 17th street location because the main phlebotomist (the older lady) finds my vein every time on the first attempt. I have problems with finding the vein. I would not go anywhere else. PAL in East Bakersfield is a messed-up joke: wait is ridiculous, and you go into a room, log in with a tablet, and just wait. I strongly recommend Quest to all my friends and family!

If i could give negative stars i would. The lady in the front was rude and unprofessional and acted as if we were inconveniencing her by the tests. Its obvious who this lady is based on the many poor reviews written here. Quest what are you going to do about this constant unprofessionalism at this location? Customer service training for this individual? A response with a solution, rather than a generic response, would be greatly appreciated.

I have had quite a few bud drawings in the last 10 years, the nurse Becky what is the best that I've ever seen at drawing blood! The facility was clean and they were organized which makes for a great time with their procedures. I was glad to go to this location

Went to give blood for some glucose work. The faculty was very pleasant. Appointments are easy to make. Check in was very quick and easy. All employees were following Covid-19 protocol. Would highly recommend if needing any blood work.

Needing bloodwork done, I logged onto the Quest website and searched for a location most convenient to me. I chose a date and time and I was all set. Before my appointment date I was sent numerous confirmation/reminder emails that included a QR code. On the morning of my appointment a hungry-from fasting the night before- but thankfully not yet hangry self walked in and checked in using the QR code. I was called back immediately. The technician confirmed and updated my information. While doing so a second technician came in and began prepping me for the procedure. The entire process was quick, friendly, and efficient. I was in and out in 10 minutes. This location runs like a well-oiled machine. Results will be sent to my doctor and I will also be able to access the results through the Quest website.
