Founded in 1997, Schilling Art Studio has been a cornerstone of the Bakersfield arts community. S.A.S. specializes in teaching drawing, acrylics, oil, silk dye, watercolor, and sculpture. Our qualified instructors, foster a healthy environment to learn the fundamentals of art. Several of our students have gone on to college to pursue a degree in the arts, taking with them the knowledge and experience they've learned here at S.A.S. Art Classes Schilling Art Studio offers daily 2 hour art classes for individuals aged 6 and up. Classes include: Oil Watercolor Acrylic Silk dye Mixed media Sculpting Workshops are also offered in silk dye, abstract, and mixed media.
My son started taking lessons here a month back and is absolutely loving it and is excited when it’s the day of his lesson. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the fees are quite reasonable. I highly recommend this place 😊
