Years of dying my hair at salons, and I just came across my worst experience ever. My hair is now very dry, frizzy, and course, and my scalp is burned. Not something I am used to, and I have been dying my hair all sorts of colors for years. If you want your hair to get ruined come to this place. This was literally the worse experience I have ever had in a salon. He's the worst.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Studio B Salon. The communication was awful — I called several times and never got a response. When I finally managed to book an appointment, it wasn’t even honored.
On top of that, Matthew’s treatment was extremely unprofessional and made the whole experience even worse. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here. I expected better and definitely won’t be returning. I would not recommend Studio B to anyone looking for reliable service or respectful treatment.

I was looking for a new Salon for having an annual hair trimm, so I checked out on line to find the best reviews on a Salon and came upon this Studio B, since I had been nearby after coming from the Hospital, I stopped by at approx. 10:30 am on this Wednesday
to inquire information about Haircut and Appointments but I was not able to enter this Establishment for the Security door was locked, (understandably so, considering the Neighborhood) was greeted by a Lady but was not invited as a potential Customer that only was looking for as good Beautician that understands my wishes. So, I asked if I would have to make an Appointment and her answer was "yes" but she did not offer to establish one for me right than and there.
What an unprofessional act toward a Customer though.
No thanks, despite the other positive feedbacks given by happy Customer's.

I came to Carlos at Studio B Salon in Bakersfield while travelling. A few weeks back in another state I got a horrible haircut that devastated me honestly. I had other salons tell me they couldn't/wouldn't do anything for me. Carlos did what he could to make it look as good as he could being that she had done so much damage. He flat ironed my hair when I got there and it made it look so smooth and pretty and then he cut it. I left there feeling so much better and more confident than I had in weeks even though there wasn't a whole lot he could do. I feel blessed to have been guided to Studio B Salon when there are so many other options around. The salon is set up beautifully and gives out a sense of calmness when you walk in but the very best part is his welcoming committee. 2 pups 1 big and 1 small Also he absolutely beats the competition when it comes to prices so if you want to look amazing feel amazing while not breaking your bank this should be your go to Salon from now on? Btw, he doesn't take debit or credit. Stay safe out there everyone✌️

Had my first visit at Studio B today and it was well worth it. A lady named Vicki did my hair. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did my hair exactly like the pic I showed her. I was very pleased. She is also very warm and friendly. I will definitely return to her again. She did a super job and she has my business from now on,

I've been coming here for many, many years for haircuts. She has always done a fabulous job for me. Vicky is always friendly and she loves everybody. She can always get me in when I need to be there. I enjoy the other women who work there. They Are friendly And I enjoy visiting with them also. This salon has a very upbeat vibe to it. You feel like You are right at home.

Carlos is the sweetest man! He was able to squeeze me in and upon arrival his puppy noir came to greet me!! I came in for a trim, I told him that I wanted to keep my length and he did just that. I also didn’t bring cash and do not have venmo so he let me go to the corner store and get cash! So please ladies and gents have cash or venmo ready for your visit!!

Sometimes even a hair cut builds the memories bonding a family. Brenda graciously took us in and gave my two daughters the most amazing hair cuts, in fact she gave them exactly what they requested. While waiting, I enjoyed the company of Carlos and his best fur buddy Noir. We truly felt at home here. I would recommend this place to all of Bakersfield. You will find the most amazing, kind artists in this hidden gem on Bernard Street. You can rest assured you will get what you ask for and be treated like family when you walk through their door. Thank you for making my daughters winter formal memory amazing! We will be back.
