The Empty Space is a non‑profit 501(c)(3) theatre and art gallery in Bakersfield, California. It is a great community theater in a compact space. Every show is blown away at the creativity involved in their use of space, whether a play or a musical. The first time was a very good experience, loved the play and the people are amazing in their performance. The Empty Space continues to promote actors, singers, musicians, artists, photographers, and more, honoring Bakersfield’s creative scene.
Great shows, great sets, quiet part of town. I'll be back! Went to see Tarzan and was blown away by the casts performances.

I don't think there's a bad seat in the house! We had seats F11 and F12 for Luchadora¡ Aside for the people who ended up in front of me being tightly grouped together, making it slightly difficult to see the wrestling and training portions of the show, everything was well lit and beautifully performed!!
