“I have been shopping at this store since moving back to Bakersfield and this is one store I would recommend to anyone looking for a family oriented store that welcomes you with a smile and always puts the customer first. The store owner and employees take the time to help you if you have a need and they also take the time get to know you by name. For my boyfriend Jesse and I, we give this store the highest review rating 5 stars...because they treat us with respect their courteous and always make me leave smiling. They keep their business clean and we'll stocked and they have almost anything I would need for a quick stop shop. The guys behind the counter always have a joke for you and the young lady is one of the hardest workers I've seen. She can listen to you ...ring up your order... And bag up your items all while asking how the family is doing today...I never have left this long of a review before but they deserve a compliment. Good job everyone at MC.. “This place is right by my house and they have the cheapest prices for cigarettes of anywhere around here plus they also have a ton of really unique stuff that you won't find anywhere else in town I can promise you that . Some of their.prices for the more high end stuff they carry can get a little on the higher side but It's just so convienant and they stay open pretty late and I really liked seeing Michelle she always made sure to throughly check inventory of basically the entire store whenever i was in need of something particular she will be missed by many people !! Its always been a very tight knight shop only having maybe 3 employees total thats including the owner who usually opens the store in the am but with michelle gone now there is only the owner and the mid to late 20s or early 30s punk rock type style guy with the longer beard tattoss and large plug earrings (which might i add that he doesn't wear while at work) who is also very very nice helpful and always makes sure that i leave a happy customer ! It's privately owned and that's deffinitly the feel of the enviorment it's a very mom and pop style shop hence the higher prices on certain things . All in all I recomend it.”
“I've been going to this store for years. Both the old and the new owners are FANTASTIC! The sweet lady who owns it now is very accommodating and knowledgeable and will bend over backwards to make you happy with your purchase. They've got a great glass selection and it doubles as a boutique with many wonderful new age treasures and delights. Great place to get your incense, as well as a selection of really nice incense burners. They've got really nice grinders and roll plates and everything you would need, minus the...you know. ? Great selection of cigarettes, cigars, and dips too. The prices are VERY affordable and fair. You won't regret going there!”
