The service is very bad, there were 3 people in line and one at the checkout serving one person and it took about 20 minutes to serve those of us who were in line. I often go to this bank because I am on the way from work to home and it is always the same.

I''m 71 and remember, before online services, standing in line and doing the usual thing. Nothing particular good or bad about those experiences stand out. Banks are banks. On December 11, 2023 I was let out of Lerdo jail after getting hauled in for Drunk in Public. Stay with me. I had been taken from my home late the night before in Tehachapi by ambulance on report by my wife I had suffered a head injury in a trip and fall at home. I had been drinking some, celebrating the fourth night of Hannukah. EMTs transported me in sweats and a thin t-shirt. I did not have my wallet or a phone. My wife provided the EMTs with my driver's license and medical insurance information. I had never ridden in the back of an ambulance and I was frightened during the trip and the blow to my head when I got to Emergency. I was goofing with the EMTs while I waited for about an hour to been seen by medical staff. Apparently the staff figured me for just being drunk and forgot about the injury. They later stuck me in a dark emergency room on a table and it became clear they were going to have me sleep off my "drunk". My wife of 52 years requires my care for basic needs. I decided to leave. The staff wouldn't have it; I was their prisoner apparently. An argument ensued and I was then asked to leave which I did. I didn't realize how cold it was that night since I'd been indoors that entire Sunday. There I was trying to make it the mile home in bare feet with no coat. I got a few hundred yards and local police pulled up. Was I glad to see them! I couldn't feel my feet in the near-freezing temperature of midnight. They promptly arrested me for being drunk in public and disorderly conduct at the hospital. The hospital called police on me "for my own good". Yeah, I suppose they would know that putting me out with shoes in that weather wasn't exactly for an old guys with a head injury's good. I spent that night and until midday on the 11th in Lerdo, about fifty miles from home. It was the first time I'd ever been jailed. It was uncomfortable, annoying and I couldn't sleep. It's jail. The jail staff was professional and more or less accommodating. I was provided rubber slippers and I stumbled out to get picked up by some sort of shuttle to deliver me to a regional bus station in downtown Bakersfield. I don't know Bakersfield, and I sure didn't know where Lerdo was from home. I was surprised to learn I had $61 in cash in my sweats when I got processed in at Lerdo. I figured I'd get that back when I got sprung. The kept that cash and gave me a check on discharge. What the heck was I going to do with a check with no ID and no phone to call my wife? I asked about at the bus place and learned there was a Wells Fargo on 22nd Street, which meant nothing to me in directional help but I soon saw the bank sign when I walked the couple of blocks. I'm not a Yelp reviewer. I've posted a couple of times in all these years and usually to say something good. I looked homeless when I got into the bank. A wonderful and kind young lady name Carolina listened to my story when I present my jail check. My wife and I are longtime Wells Fargo customers and at least one account is stuffed with a lot of money. Carolina and another wonderful lady named Jessica worked hard to figure out how to get that jail check cash. I mean, who the heck am I trying to dun someone's account with no ID? I was so embarassed for being a public miscreant, apparently, and I'm still embarassed by it. Jail for goodness sake. What a panic to get home, eat, shower and sleep and be with my wife. (She got a little sleep the night before and in the morning to call the hospital and they told her I wasn't there.) Carolina and Jessica made it happen. They had keen ideas about how to protect a customer's account and help me at the same time. They did it! They helped me phone my wife and she was going to come get me. She hasn't driven in four years but made it down the sketchy highway

Wells Fargo was a good bank at first until I deposited a check 2 times because the first time it didn’t go through, I called and said that I put it in twice so they took out the extra money that was in my account but then 3 days later they took out my money from the money I was supposed to keep so I ended up with my balance at negitive 500$, this was right before Christmas so I had no money to buy gifts for my kids and no food for them. I went to wells Fargo in person and they fixed the issue the next day so I got my money back. A week later they took out my money again except this time they took out 800$ !! So my account was at negitive once again but 800$ this time. You go to a bank to trust them with your money and they end up taking it. I am very disappointed with this bank, it ruined the holiday for me and my kids DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK WITH YOUR MONEY go to any other bank. To make matters worse I went in person to this Wells Fargo on 22st and the lady basically told me they can not help me with the negitive amout in my account and that i need to just call my self. I have worked customer service before, I understand places get busy but this has been going on for like 3 weeks now and I need my money just like every other person, you couldn’t have squeezed in some time for me atleast all I wanted was help but instead they told me to just call my self. Please do not go to this bank.

I don't know if it's all Wells Fargo's or just this location... but it's HORRIBLE. Absolutely no help from anyone there. Don't bother asking them any questions about estate accounts.... Everyone will give you a different answer and they spend most of the time on the phone to corporate (which is equally useless). Tellers like to take their breaks when there's a long line of customers. I'm surprised anyone would ever choose to bank there.

I had a tech issue with my account and was told to call customer service phone line for the company. The old number was still on my card but useless although it’s still on the website. I called the -4932 number on my statement and it was not in use either and it referred me to a -9220 new number which said Direct TV. I then called local number and it asked a few ques and when my reply did not match their info I was put on hold for 20 mins est time so I didn’t want to wait that long and hung up. The website needs updated phone numbers and better service on phone. Cause the numbers were useless or a Direct TV phone no.

Something's happening to my account. All my money came up missing and they don't know what happened to it. When I call customer service, no one picks up. And now my account has been over drawn because they keep paying all kinds of bills even though I have no money to cover anything. And on top of that, am being charged a lot for this negative balance I have because of Wells Fargo. This bank is a joke.

I have never seen this kind of slow service in anywhere. Just two tellers are working & 15to 18 people’s are waiting in line for their turn. So horrible. I don’t know, what the Manger is looking for. Maybe, some more people in the line.

Super slow! They have tons of people in there most NOT WORKING. If you know its a busy day then have enough staff or if you just going to hire people to sit around doing nothing then have them in the back so we don't have to see them and they frustrate us. You would think with all the time this bank has been open they would do better. Cross train people or hire more people for your busy days of the month.

No matter what day or what time this branch is ridiculous! Line of 11 people and ONE teller open!! And people just hanging around in the back doing other things!! Had to post since this is the third time this happens

This location has the worst wait times! There is never more than 2-3 tellers working at a time not to mention only 1 in the merchant line where there shouldn't be much of a wait. Im glad my company is ready to switch banks where they are more considerate about their customers.
