My former company used this bank. My last check with them went on hold for over a week because when my bank called this place to confirm the check, no one would pick up or return the call.

This only thing I don't like about my bank is that there is only one location in all of Bakersfield otherwise I'm very satisfied with them and have been for 16 years.

Elsa is unbelievable. Standard questions I understand. I came into open a new account with 5500 cash. I was completely treated like a criminal after providing 3 forms of id and a social security number. Elsa asked all the standard ?s. How did I come by the money? I saved it... how did you safe it??? I'm 36 years old I saved money.... She became very short with me after that. I was shocked that I was being treated like a bald headed blue masked criminal. I have never felt more stereotyped and belittled. She claimed she needed to go get a deposit slip. As she pasted a teller she instructed out loud for the teller to go with her. I never ever in my whole life felt like I was about to be ambushed. She made me feel my life was in danger. As if this person is capable of something evil and sinister. I left. As I was leaving I asked the remaining very short blacked haired teller the name of the heavy set women who was not being very nice to me. She told me it was Claire. I was so upset that I was being profiled so strongly. I called the bank to let Claire know how I felt I was treated. I was told Claire is off this whole week. I asked to speak with the heavy set woman who was being rude to me. Turns out that was Elsa. I will be complaining about this mis treatment to their supervisors. I will be making an FCA complaint over discrimination.

Worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. My car got financed through them. They are still trying to charge me a monthly payment when my loan has been paid off.

Warning!!! This business does NOT require their employees to wear protective masks or gloves when interacting with patrons. The manager told me it was not required. They did agree to have the employee serving me to wear this protection for ME. The employees are not practicing social distancing at all!

This is the worst bank I have ever used. I had the misfortune to get an auto loan through here and they refuse to give you information about your own accounts and loans. It is absolutely ridiculous. I'm refinancing immediately.

Better choices available, wanted to pay-off loan over phone, they said I couldn't do it. Had to go down to local office. Did not want to use debit card for pay-off, good thing I took my checkbook. Time to catch-up with modern times.

No online banking, doesn't take payments over the phone, oh and if you go down there to make a payment by card your bank does charge you because this bank uses their atms to make a payment.

This is the most backwards bank ninth state, I will never do business with them again. if you have a car loan, you have no monthly statements. You have no annual statements, You have no online access unless you slap have a back account. your only access it to call their many options one each time and re-identify yourself.In fact you cannot even get a hard statement at the local bank. If you have a loan with WestAmerica bank and don care about the status of the loan at any given time, this is your bank, Trust them, you fools.
