Why offer an appointment for a covid vaccine when you're gonna allow walk ins to go in front of someone who took the time to fill the information out online. I've been waiting for 30 minutes already and they have already called people before me that didn't schedule an appointment. It's just annoying. I'm not complaining of the wait, I'm complaining because why offer appointments.

I love the employees but I came in one morning and caught the manager, I believe his name is Ron, being awfully close to one of the female cashier and she seemed very uncomfortable. Would not want my child ever working here. If you are looking for a job do not consider this rite aid

Review is for their Ice Cream, for a company that serves their own brand of ice cream they are always out of Cookies n Cream, Mint n Chip, etc. or maybe the associate is just lazy to bring from back. Come on Rite Aid the hot weather is here in Bakersfield, let's get with it and let's have enough associates to staff the counter!

The night staff is absolutely rude. The young lady, who worked tonight April 3rd 2021 looked like she was irritated, and definitely took it out on her customers. I was next in line and she let someone behind me cut me in line. I was grabbing a candy right there in the front before wanting to walk to her register. She then checks me out on the next register, didn't apologize, didn't greet me. She was trying to multitask between customers which she was doing a horrible job at. She didn't communicate with me other than asking me if I needed a bag. She didn't hand me my receipt, or tell me my total. I just moved down the street from this location and this is the closest convenience store but after tonight I definitely don't think I want to go back any time soon. I rather go out my way to a place where I know I'm going to be treated like a decent human.

I was here for coronavirus testing on 7/20, and I made an online appointment ahead of time. It took one hour !!!! One hour for one test??!?!!? I was here at 10:10 AM and the lady behind the drive through said testing didnt start till 11:00AM. I told her I was given a 10:30 appointment with instruction to come 15 minutes early. Then, the lady told me it was too early still, so I had to drive around the drive through again. Really? 5 minutes is too early? So I thought I would be done within 30mins or so since there were 3 cars head. NOPE. I swabbed myself which took only 5 minutes. Left the drive through at 11:15 AM. I will never come here again to deal with this horrible wait time.

Waiting for my daughter's antibiotic that she's needed since after hours last night. It's 15 past opening time and the pharmacy is still closed. Very unprofessional. The pharmacist is counting change to open the register with all of the shades down.

Our "run-in" store for odds and ends. Usually spend too much but my time is valuable. Staff is friendly.

This is sad for me because I absolutely loved this pharmacy and everyone that worked in it up until recent events. Managers are efficient and friendly, Antonio is amazing! Yet every time I've had to deal with Micheal, whom has worked in the pharmacy since October 2018, I have never been so hurt and upset by someone's lack of compassion and empathy. My most current encounter was today, unfortunately their was no other staff there. I went through the drive thru to drop off a prescription after a surgery. I was told at 5:50 they close at 6 and he wouldn't be able to fill it until the morning. I accepted this and decided to go inside to buy some bandage wraps when I noticed 2 people enter the line to the pharmacy. I hear Micheal say,"Ok mam that should be ready in 10-20 minutes", as she hands him her perscription. At this point obviously I am wondering why someone who shows up later is getting hers filled, yet mine cannot be filled. I had quite a conversation with him and he basically said she was first. Ha I'd already gone through the drive thru window, dropped off my prescription, shopped and saw her walk up. He still refused to fill mine even after telling him I had just gotten out of SURGERY! He is the rudest, possibly control happy person I've ever met. He had no logical reasoning, just decided himself that I was not getting mine. Sorry Rite Aid but you've hired someone not cut out for personal customer service skills.

First I called to refill my child's prescription and could hardly understand the man who answered my call. When I asked when it would be ready he said "afternoon". Seeing I called in the morning I figured 2:30 would have been long enough. Nope. Not only did it take several long minutes and push of the "call" button for someone to even acknowledge me I learned it would be another hour. I waited two. I've sat for over 10 minutes and rang the call button twice for someone to finally acknowledge me with a "it will be awhile". There is no way to see into the pharmacy window so there is no way to know if they even knew i was here. Another 15 minutes and I finally got my child's Rx. I won't be coming back here. Ever.

DO NOT BUY YOUR ICE CREAM HERE!! I went tonight to buy 6 double scoops, the portions were way way smaller. When I asked the rite aid associate, he said he was told to serve less because they run out of ice cream too soon. Pretty much they are ripping you off! Charging for two scoops when it's only one.
