The menu is limited. The listed website shows a larger selection and it looks fantastic on the website. However, when we arrived, the menu, sandwich and toppings were a lot smaller. The toppings and meats are provided in small quantities. $8.25 for a 7-inch sandwich is not worth it. For a drink and sandwich, I paid $12.55 a sandwich, chips and a drink. It's unclear to me if the students can afford to eat there. It's not worth the effort or to pay for a parking meter. Seating is small and is bar-style. I would avoid it.

One of the things I've been missing since I graduated CSUB. I would go pretty often and was never disappointed in the build your own sandwich feature. However, I didn't like the Pizza Wich. It just wasn't what I thought it would be. Aside from that, I would definitely come visit and get a sandwich. As a student on a lunch break, keep in mind depending on when your break is if you have enough time to wait for a sandwich. There's always a rush during 11-1 and it could take 20-30 min. for your order.

This place is pretty good! Though the lady at the front counter doesn't talk (not even a greeting) at all, it's still really neat! It's different because you place your order on a sandwich bad and give it to the lady at register. I got a philly cheese steak sub which was OK because I got it cold for some reason? Would've been really yummy if it were warm haha :P

They have really good milkshakes, the sandwiches are fine and really big. They just added pizzas to the menu. I do not recommend their house chips.

The setup here is horrible. Very small and the card machine isn't even at the counter. Have to huddle by the exit and squeeze to the wall when people pass by to get drinks since the soda machine is by the exit. Paid almost $20 for a sandwich that is barely better than subway. The turkey was thin and tasted like it came from a package. Got the chipotle mayo, but it made my sandwich soggy and wet. Will not being coming back to waste my time and money for something so bad.

This place is a bit different compared to your normal sub shop. You place your order on the bag that will hold your sandwhich and/or cookies. You mark what you want and take it to the register for payment. The lady who was working the front counter was very helpful in assisting me and anyone else who was new to this system. Unfortunately during this part of my visit, I was ingormed that they don't have a full menu. I had looked online before I went to have an idea of what they offered and the Meatball Grinder caught my eye. I informed the cashier that I wanted one and my heart broke when she said they don't have a full menu. I ordered the Cali Club and it was good. The bacon was excellent and the bread really held up and felt fresh. After consuming it and a bag of chips, I felt underwhelmed for paying over $10 and no drink. It is a good alternative to Subway but I am not completely sold on it.
