“As people who random stop hotels and motels, this was one of our best ‘lucked-into’, especially for so economic a rate! Clean and *comfortable* - easy to get to - don’t get suckered into the lesser quality next door - wonderfully retro and cute!”
“Great location just past Barstow so closer to Los Angeles and very accessible from I-15. We booked a very affordable, two-bedroom suite which was perfect as one bed was in a great room while the second bed was in its own cozy room. Enjoyed the prints of local scenery, Route 66, California poppies, Joshua trees that decorated the walls. Complimentary breakfast. Arrived late and didn't have time to enjoy the whirlpool bath. Maybe next time!”
“Cool hotel and staff is great. I loved talking with Carlos this morning. 24 hour gym and pool. The early breakfast helps because I have to leave super early. Rooms are clean and comfy. Stayed here twice during the last six months and I liked both stays a lot.”

“My son and I stayed for 2 nights last year and it was a great experience so we came back to the Topper motel when visiting Barstow again this year. The manager is very courteous and the room both times was very nice and greatly priced.

“This was very outdated (think 1990s colorful carpets, wallpaper and a crammed layout). However, it was CLEAN. Very clean. While everything was old, I would rather have an outdated room, then a dirty room. I appreciate how they kept it clean from sheets, blankets to baseboards, counters and carpet.”

“Satisfactory value for money. Arrived at the last minute and by chance the welcome was friendly, we were able to see the room before renting it and ask for a room on the ground floor so as not to bring the suitcases up. Large room, furniture a little old but ok, comfortable bedding, well equipped fridge, microwave, coffee, just missing USB and normal sockets on the bedside table. The other sockets were a little wobbly and the adapters did not hold. Wifi ok. On the other hand the pool was not cleaned, earth or sand at the bottom it did not make you want to swim. Otherwise be careful, on the sign it says breakfast included, but in fact they do not make it.
Rooms: well equipped but furniture a little old. on the other hand comfortable beds
Safety: on main street of route 66, no safety concerns
Food and drinks: although it is marked there is no breakfast included”

“Amy provides excellent customer service skills anytime I have an encounter with her and I'm being checked in, need a question answered, or help with anything. I don't care what time it is she is always helpful to my family and i. Very polite and most of the time she is on graveyard doing extra time waiting on the next shift in the morning. I will always return back to motel 6 because of her. Thank you Amy for being an amazing person. Her positive energy is most definitely contagious. Excellent customer service skills. Being a local nowadays trying to check in a room is outrageous. Not with Amy. Treats us all equal. I will always return back to this Motel 6 because of her.Rooms: Job well done. Very clean and cozy. Love the couple that house keeps together. They bring a positive vibe to this place as well.”

“The manager was very clean cut like and very pilot. The room was very cheap and very worth the money for me and my husband to be comfortable staying for a few hours of rest ! I definitely recommend this motel if you are stoping through Barstow CA. Motel 6 on E main is by far the best I've came encounter with traveling and small towns”
