U-Haul Moving & Storage of Barstow is a nice location with clean, well-maintained trucks and storage units. The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. However, some customers find it very pricey, noting additional costs like fuel. A suggestion is to keep a broom in the trucks for cleaning. Caution is advised regarding time limits, as one truck's clock was reported to be 15 minutes behind. The service is considered okay, but some would use it for emergencies only.
Matt and the team at this location are extremely helpful! We unfortunately broke down on the 40 outside Barstow mid move from CA to AZ. The assisted us with a U-Haul and a place to store our vehicle while we waited for the mechanic. This was much appreciated!

The equipment was ready and prepared when I arrived. The service was excellent. The employee tested everything and explained everything as well. When I got home to load my vehicle, the strap got knotted, so I drove back to U-Haul. The employee got everything straightened out. Excellent service.
