Mi Tierra is a store with a huge variety, packed with items like candy, membrillo, carnitas, salsas, queso fresco, meats, and fresh pan dulce. Reviews note the staff is great, polite, and helpful, with awesome customer service. The meat department is also highlighted. However, experiences with the prepared food are mixed; some find it always fresh and good, while others report it can be undercooked with no flavor, or overcooked and not fresh. This place never disappoints, extremely friendly employees, a Mexican restaurant in the back that in my opinion is top 5 in Pittsburg/baypoint ( if you made me choose between meca and mi Tierra I would not choose meca) the deserts are amazing, the butcher shop is fantastic… this place is better than Cardenas
