“This place is definitely in my top five favorite places to stay with my family. The staff made everything easy and welcoming, and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean throughout our stay. Having free parking was also a huge convenience for my family and me.I especially want to recognize the lady with the short orangey hair. She was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to assist me, even though we didn’t speak the same language. She really stood out during our visit. The only issue I experienced was with the electrical outlets. My charger wouldn’t stay plugged in securely, so I had to find a way to keep it connected. Other than that, everything was great, and I would gladly stay here again.”

“Booked through a third party app per the LA Marathon website in order to get a wristband for the AM shuttle to the marathon start line. Upon arrival, the concierge knew nothing about any wristbands and offered no help/advice/solution. Of course, none of the volunteers at the marathon expo knew anything either. Asked again later in the day after seeing a different person at the hotel front desk. Thankfully, she knew exactly what I was talking about. She didn't verify if I had booked through the third party website, and just gave the needed wristbands. Would much have preferred to book directly through them if I knew they would hand out wristbands like they did.
Regarding the hotel, it was conveniently located near places in walking distance to eat. It was a longer walk to a coffee shop and Little Tokyo that we visited, but still do-able. Used their shuttle service, and the drivers and valet were helpful and respectful. Shuttle wasn't running on the weekend though. The extra fees the hotel charged amounted to nearly $125 for our three nights. Glad I didn't have a car and have to pay the valet fees. The rooms do not stay cold enough at night. The coffee at their little coffee shop was disgusting. Glad we had just used our complimentary drink ticket on it instead of paying extra. Beds were comfy, and they had a flat pillow among the lot that I found comfortable. I could see myself staying here again, but it wouldn't be my first or second choice.”
“First, I'd like to talk about the check-in process. I checked in around 3:30, and the gentleman at the front desk was amazing. He was very polite, provided a thorough rundown of the hotel, and made us feel welcome. The room was excellent—very clean and fresh-smelling. Unlike some other hotels, I didn't feel the need to pull out my own cleaning supplies. The room was well-maintained, and I was very pleased with it. The following morning, I had breakfast at the hotel. There was a good selection of food, and I have no complaints. The tables were clean, and the ladies working in the breakfast area were very polite and attentive. Throughout my stay, every time I entered or exited the hotel, the front desk staff greeted me warmly. Overall, the customer service was great—until checkout. The issue I had was with the checkout experience on 6/1 at approximately 9:30 a.m. The lady at the front desk was very rude. When I told her I was checking out, she asked for my room keys. I explained that I had left them in the room. She insisted that she needed them back, so I had to go upstairs and ask housekeeping to open the door so I could retrieve the two keys and bring them back downstairs. After returning the keys, I asked for a checkout receipt. She told me she could not provide one. I asked how I would know if there were any additional charges, and she simply told me to wait 5–7 business days for my bank to release the funds. I explained that other hotels typically provide paperwork or email confirmation showing that I have checked out, but she said no. What made the interaction even more frustrating was that she was on her phone throughout the conversation and appeared uninterested in helping me. Her behavior was unprofessional and left a negative final impression after what had otherwise been a very pleasant stay.
Overall, I enjoyed the hotel, the cleanliness, the breakfast, and the service from most of the staff. Unfortunately, the checkout experience significantly impacted my overall impression.”
“Very nice hotel. The bed was bigger than expected and the room was very clean when I checked in. Overall I’d stay here again, and the manager Sam was very nice!”

“June 2025.I love the way Best Western aims to provide a reliable and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. I arrived early and they allowed me to check in at 1pm instead of 3pm. Once arrive at my room.I check around and the beds was so amazing for the first time. Brand new sheets and more. Bathroom was beautiful. Breakfast- we was toad on the first day that breakfast ended at 9:30 AM, but it really ended at 10 AM. So we could’ve made it to the second floor. We would of had 30 minutes to eat, but by one of the ladies in the front office telling us the wrong time on the first day we didn’t have breakfast. I would love to be back for my next trip. They also listened and corrected the breakfast food issue.
January 31-2nd of February- kool bed was itchy and toilet was dirty upon arrival with pee. Change rooms hours later because they didn’t have anything available until 3 hours later from 5am. Also a spider in the pillowcase with pillow. But I will still stay, it happens.

“The staff here are what make this place truly special.
I’ve been coming here for 5 years and the people keep me coming back every time.
Danica in the restaurant is an absolute gem — she has a warmth that makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. The food is incredible, best I’ve had, but the experience wouldn’t be the same without her.
Jaline and Mike on the security team deserve just as much recognition. They made me feel completely safe and at ease throughout my entire stay. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests — always attentive, always professional.
When a hotel has staff like this across every department, you know you’re in good hands. Highly recommend. The staff here are what make this place truly special.”

“Hotel was overall pretty nice staff were pretty good ...we were trying to pack our car when a truck came rushing in almost hitting my car...the man driving tried to start an altercation with my husband then went in the hotel and told the staff my husband started it ...the man also had his work crew come to the doors and start screaming at me and my husband threatning to jump my husband and I then the man then went up to his room proceeded to throw things from the balcony at us ...”

“Great Service this afternoon at the Bar Area ordering drinks and desert after lunch at Sol Agave next door at LA Live. Andre our waiter was very attentive and friendly. In the past ordering dinner, drinks, and snacks very happy too. Great atmosphere. Thanks to all servers and staff.

“I stayed at Motel 6 Bell Gardens during a short trip and honestly got exactly what I was looking for. It wasn’t a luxury hotel, and I wasn’t expecting it to be. I needed a clean place to sleep, a hot shower, and a convenient location, and it delivered on all three.
The room was clean when I arrived, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s rest, and the staff was friendly throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, which is always appreciated after a long day of driving.
What I liked most was the value. In Los Angeles, hotel prices can get out of control very quickly, so finding a reasonably priced option that does the basics well is a win in my book.
If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly place to stay and understand what Motel 6 is meant to be, you’ll probably be satisfied. No unnecessary frills, just a straightforward place to spend the night and continue your trip the next morning.”
“We had a fantastic stay at The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles and would absolutely return.
The location is one of the biggest highlights, it’s an incredibly easy walk to both Crypto.com Arena and Peacock Theater, making it perfect if you’re in town for a concert, sporting event, or show. Being right in the L.A. Live complex is convenient while still feeling calm and refined once you’re inside the hotel.
The Club Lounge experience was excellent, and Ingrid there was especially warm and helpful to our family throughout the stay. Her hospitality really stood out.
Another nice perk is the Illy coffee shop located in the connected JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE lobby, which you can easily access through an indoor hallway... perfect for a quick morning coffee.
Between the attentive service, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable event access, this is a wonderful option when staying in downtown LA.”

“UPDATE Jan 2/26: Hotel management resolved this issue promptly. I really appreciated how the Hoxton dealt with the matter, and felt it was important to update this review. Jan 1/26: Bought tickets for the Hoxton’d NYE party (through Eventbrite) and it was the biggest rip off! That place was dead. The lobby area they designated for the NYE party was a small area to the left of the entrance. The second floor room was like a small living room with CSI lighting. The roof had a tiny pool with tables on either side of wall partitions… nothing was happening. Several groups of people who’d bought tickets came in and left immediately. Legitimately horrible. $50 per person for that. Didn’t even get that midnight champagne drink that came with the ticket. They also said they would air drop a free night stay at the hotel for one of the guests who bought tickets… I don’t think that ever happened. Hoxton DTLA… refund me and get it together.”
“This has been a very challenging time in my life so I’ve been staying in local hotels. During one of the most painful days I’ve endured I had the pleasure of speaking with a young lady named Yuliza who answered the phone at this lovely hotel. Talking to her was honestly the highlight of my day. Her kindness compassion and desire to be of as much help as possible ensured whenever I’m in need of a hotel stay I will seek out this brand no matter what city I’m in because their staff treat people like they would want you to take care of their family & friends not just paying customers. The staff ensures you will be so taken care of staying here. If there are some improvement needed I would say maybe consider changing to another TV cable company, the TV Service was out far more than it was on, out of 42 channels, half didn’t work most of the time and it was hotel wide, not just a few rooms. Would have been nice to have a microwave to heat up left overs or make popcorn & not have to come down to the lobby, but outside of these inconveniences, & primarily due to the friendly staff and aesthetics of the hotel, it’s an establishment that I would recommend and revisit on any given occasion.”

“Pretty much what you'd expect. The employees were inviting and friendly. The spaces were fairly clean. The room was small but fitting. Clean but stained. There was an area in front of the hotel that smelled like something died. Restaurants attached and in the surrounding area. Liquor store/mini marts super close. Good experience overall.”

“The staff is very ok, a small specification, pay attention to the staff working at the reception, many of them are not exactly hospitable (it seems they are forced to work there), they also do not want to collaborate or are a little harsh.?
In redt everything is ok, the view, the rooms and the other staff.?”

“We have stayed here multiple times. The staff is always very professional and friendly. They are very responsive to your needs/requests. The facility is very clean, your room is made up daily. (This is huge since COVID) The price is very reasonable and is very convenient to all the places we need to get when in LA.”

“This is a good location and for the price. A mile walk to Hollywood Blvd. The rooms are nice, standard hotel. The rooms have mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and small safe. The bathroom had plenty of towels and supplied shampoo, conditioner, bodywash and lotion. The water pressure was the best. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. They have a free breakfast included. It was pretty basic but it was something. Waffle maker, oatmeal, fruits, eggs, bacon and potatoes. They have an area for snacks, water to purchase. They also have a coffee station as you walk in. They do have on site parking, sign said $45 a day. Within a blocks distance were fast food and convince store.”

Great staff especially at the front desk, Oliver dayside and Eric was there overnight and they were both so friendly and helpful especially Eric this morning when I left, helped me finish out a great trip and stay, from the free bottled water to the golf cart with Andre down the hill to a restaurant and then came back to get me. “Great stay! Echoing other reviewers, this place is hidden away from Hollywood Blvd by a narrow walkway. “Easily one of my favorite hotels in LA. The rooms and amenities are great, and the gym is excellent with some really good views to top it off. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. Taylor and Roberto consistently go above and beyond—every visit they’re welcoming, attentive, and genuinely make every visit more enjoyable. That level of service is rare, and it’s the reason we keep coming back.”

“Room size impressed us with space for all our gear and luggage without feeling cramped, cleanliness standards matched much pricier hotels we've stayed at previously, bed comfort allowed everyone to sleep soundly, staff courtesy during check-in created positive first impression that continued throughout brief stay, and reasonable pricing meant we stayed within travel budget comfortably”
“I had an excellent stay at Diamond Bell and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and welcoming. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. You can tell they really care about keeping the place in great condition.
Parking was a huge plus plenty of space and very convenient, which made coming and going stress-free. Overall, everything about the stay was great, from the cleanliness to the comfort and the overall atmosphere of the property. There were no issues at all, just a solid, enjoyable stay from start to finish.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Diamond Bell to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free place to stay. Five stars all around!”
