“Home Depot is hands down my favored store of all time. And let’s be honest there’s not a bunch of Harvard graduates working there. As as soon as the CAT knives showed up on the Home Depot site I inquired with one of the sales associates and she replied “ kitty cat” Of course I was referring to the CAT - Caterpillar- heavy equipment operator company But they don’t carry the stores so I understand for her it’s not part of her required curriculum. I was looking for a replacement bulb for a lava lamp which are specialty bulbs ( of course they have to heat to a precise degrees or they ruin the substance inside the lava lamp) And the sale aaaociate, looked at me all confused Then said “ really your supposed to use a special kind of bulb, I guess that’s why all the floor models of the lava lamps got ruined right after I changed the bulbs” And at the moment he was trying to help me find the bulb I needed The blind leading the blind I worked at harbor freight when I was 19 Not only did I memorize every single sku number of every item we carried I taught myself how to use every last one. And do construction to this day and I’m 43 I loved my job and was always very knowledgeable about everything we sold. There’s maybe two employees in every store that actually feels that way about customer service and it’s super lame because sometimes u do need assistance Even worse when u need something like materials for a job u don’t want to run into a guy who’s trying yo “ fake it till he make it” If u get materials u need to have cut for your order and prepared before u leave by the time u get back ti the job And find out the size is wrong u have lost time that could make or break that job and customer I still give it 5 stars because of inventory and my overall need for brands like Milwaukee and channel lock that lame Lowe’s doesn’t carry and that’s the only other option we would have”

“I usually complain about Home Depot customer service.... NOT HERE! Sometimes it gets slow but that's because it's crowded. Fast action people at the Pro Desk, always on point, Garden department is always helpful and they actually help u take heavy stuff out to ur / truck ...! Also the tool rental department very helpful and quick set As of July 2019 definitely have to say the so called "customer service " desk is officially s*** every goddamn time I go it's always something. Last time the fat b**** got annoyed with me because I didn't haul in 18 6x6x16 blocks and I asked her to please get a forklift guy to carry it off along with 2 heavy wooden pallets that I was returning. And I always get b******* from the other two that are usually there I don't know how they seem to know I'm in a hurry but it seems that every time I need to get out fast I get more B******* like all of a sudden they can't find a purchase from a day before or all of a sudden it's a big deal that something was bought at a different store. F*** everyone working customer service desk at this store. I still love everyone in gardening and the pro desk especially. But really F*** everyone at the customer service desk”

“Who hired Andres? You have a keen eye for talent. Please fill your store with more like him. He crossed paths with me at the entrance. I had a mulch exchange which I'd purchased the wrong color. The initial contact, the usual not so friendly front end customer service you don't have your receipt...blah blah...never mind that I spend thousands of dollars at this store chain yearly. Never mind that not only was I replacing with a correct color but purchasing more bags, but ok ladies, I have a broken rib and no strength to care so I will allow you to be condescending and feel important, just give me my mulch. I still have Andres. He hauled the cart with the wrong color bags to the garden, loaded now 10 bags of the right color, plus two bags of GroMulch and was ever so happy to do so. Andres stayed with me through check out and loaded my car ever so careful...and just a nice guy. "Ma'am, I love my job" The attitude amazing...the skills...amazing. Management keep an eye on this man and give him what he deserves. Don't lose him and hire more like him. To loyal Home Depot customers that read this review ask for him when you come in and commend him for doing a great job. They don't get paid enough for their hard work. To the management...hire more employees that care just like Andre.”

“Evelyn Captain of Events was my secret Santa this year!!! I came in looking for the Grinch tree and found a sad little dried up tree by the register. I was told there weren’t anymore but I decided to ask one more person and there she was! She was able to guide me to a rack that was hidden between these ginormous (small) palm trees, and found a tree that was exactly what I was looking for. I was actually hesitant to ask her for help because she looked like she was hustling trying to get her work done, butshe was very pleasant and approachable. Thank you so much, Evelyn!”

“Home Depot: You can always find the kinds of things you need for building different projects at home Depot. I went there to buy a piece of insulation 4x8 sheet that I thought I could get cut on the sores there but they don't cut insulation there. The guy told me I could take it home and cut it with a exacto knife but I couldn't get it into my car. It was too big that way so he got down off his forklift even though he was doing something else and cut my thing in the in a different ways. I needed it to the different sizes that I needed the best service I've ever had.”

“This store was really helpful and insightful for when I had just came in. I was referred to by a floor planner that I was working with and right as I came into the store I was greeted and helped with immediately. There were several customers inside being helped and I got helped as soon as they were done. I came in asked for silver underlayment they helped me find the right one and got me in and out with a snap of a finger.”

He gave my husband all the information he needed on the security doors that he needed to order. We went to the Home Depot in Downey and the one in Cerritos, Terrible customer service, we waited for half an hour on each of these stores for someone to help us, but no one showed up, when we arrived at this store , my husband ask a young guy for help and right away he called the person in charge of the doors , so Frank came like in 3 minutes, open his computer, looked for prices and dates for the special orders ?”

“I've been doing home improvement projects on my home since the middle of this pandemic and today I came to buy some items needed to sand my floors. First off, the sales associates were not helpful today. I asked a guy for help to only request assistance from someone else via walkie talkie. He didn't even acknowledge me, ask for anotjer associate and walked passed me. I thought he was very rude. I asked another guy who was/is considering a "pro service associate." He didn't even acknowledge me either. A woman by the name of Marisol helped me and she was awesome. She answered all my questions and gave me recommendations. The 4 stars go her for her great attitude and her service.”
