We went here to submit my wife's application for a passport after she attained citizenship. Unlike in the valley, plenty of slots are available for passport appointments. On top of that, the lady was on top of the requirements for application like she has been doing this for years, she was very thorough.

Horrible experience every single time I go. One staff member in particular is extremely rude and mean. If you read other posts, you'll know who everybody is talking about. God Rest Your Soul if you have the unfortunate experience of dealing with her on one of her bad days. Talk about entitled, unfireable, government employee.

My husband and I had passport appointments today, and our service was outstanding. Sarah handled our applications quickly and professionally. She disclosed she was training on passport applications, and when questions arose, Jennifer smoothly answered our questions. Quick, friendly, excellent customer service.

I had a negative review as my item was sent back in a day saying that they did not know who I was nor my post office box, but turned out it was not the post office who did this, the company gave me the wrong tracking number, so I changed it from one star and back up as the woman was civil and was able to solve this. So I aimed my anger at the wrong person.

Passport processor Jennifer was amazing.Thank you for pointing out a small, easily corrected, error in documentation that could have derailed the process!

So sick of the Post Offices getting terrible reviews when they are packed full of highly abused people that still come to work with a smile on their faces and helpful hearts. I appreciate all that they do!

Ok post office unless you have to deal with tracy. Id rather watch my mom get beaten to death than to talk to that woman ever again

Please stop stealing our mail. Also I thought big Bertha left but she’s back and as miserable as ever. Please find a job that doesn’t involve human interaction.

I arrived 2 minutes late to a passport appointment and there was not one person in the whole post office. The lady was rude and said she would not have time to help me. I waited and no one came to the next appointment. I’ve had to get several passports in the past and I have always had a good experience. I wish she would find a job that makes her happy.

Make sure to get receipts. The large woman we all complain about was the last person to handle my outgoing package and it went missing. Never left the post office. She will steal anything there not recorded. Get receipts.

I showed up today with a passport appointment. Tammy quickly let me know that I didn't need an appointment and I could send materials off on my own (name change due to divorce). I had to go home to make another copy of my divorce decree, but I really appreciated her clarity and direction. For those complaining about showing up late and not being accommodated: appointments are only 30 mins long and she takes care of people back to back (with little to no time between). This is the same at every USPS passport location and they are all booked weeks in advance. If you don't agree with this scheduling, complain to the US department of state; don't be insensitive and cruel by tearing Tammy (or whoever is working at the frontlines) down. Tammy: you're awesome!

The passport lady has no human compassion whatsoever. She is the reason for the "lazy government employee" stereotype. I scheduled to get my kids passports appointment way in advance (it's nearly impossible to get an appointment for passports nowadays - couldn't find anything in San Jose area, Ben Lomond was all I could find). Had to get the kids' dad's notarized permission to get them passports, which is only good for 30 days. So, the timing was critical. I had to take substantial time off work to drive 45 min there and back plus the appointment, and it's not an easy thing for me to do since my job is super demanding. Sadly, there was a crash on 17 and it took us 1 hr+ to get there. We arrived 20 min late, the passport lady was at her lunch (within our appointment window - kudos for her for maximizing her day to get an extra lunch time in there ). The lady helping post office customers said she wouldn't see us because we are so late. I explained my situation and begged to squeeze us in - all our paperwork was done and organized, it would be super quick. Well, she came out with her coffee cup, told me off for being late, was not sympathetic at all and told me I'm cutting into her lunch break "it's the only time i have for a break, I'm booked solid " So here's the question, if you took your lunch during our appointment window... as a hard working government employee... I know you have your mandatory 30 min lunch and 2 15 minute breaks scheduled in there! So what happened to your original lunch time window? You are welcome for having the extra 20 min from our appointment time (she said she waited for us 10 min and went on her lunch break). Enjoy your extended Friday lunch, lady. Don't choke on a sandwich. Hope you sleep well knowing your lack of humanity meant more work for an already completely overwhelmed single mom. You just worry about you and carry on making the world a better place.

If I could give zero star I would. Never in my life have I encountered worst costumer service. The woman that works there has a horrible manner. I wonder how could someone with such rude behavior get any job let alone in service. I really feel bad for anyone that has to endure her or be around her. She's miserable and tries to make your day miserable. So do yourself a favor and go to another office.
