My tail light was smashed by a homeless woman in Oakland. There was some body damage surrounding the tail light. They got the dent out, replaced the tail light, painted it, and calibrated the tail light sensors to make it look like nothing ever happened. Great work.”

“After moving to Walnut Creek I was in need of an auto service repair shop; through a referral I started taking my car to Gilmore’s. Over the last year or so I have needed to take my car in for a one or two issues as well as basic oil change & have been very happy with service. They are very thorough in their work & have been really good on keeping me updated on repairs or service in general. They also are good about following up and checking in after service has been completed to make sure everything is in working order. Everyone I have interacted with is very friendly and accommodating. Josh especially is really great. Although their service fees are a bit higher than those I paid at my previous shop, I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. If you’re looking for a good Auto repair shop, I definitely recommend Gilmore’s!”

He takes my car in as a walk in and is always pleasant to work with. Lastly, his prices are very reasonable. Went to the dealership for a recall who tried to sell me some additional services but I was suspicious so I brought the vehicle to Jeff. Sure enough, there was nothing requiring attention at this time. And no charge to inspect and test drive my vehicle. Wow! It's comforting to get my regular oil changes from them (which are very reasonably priced) and have them look over my vehicle because I know I can trust them when a repair is really needed.”

“I've had Joe work on a few of my vehicles. There are so many shops that rip people off do you unnecessary work or charge and don't do any of the work. I go to Joe's because of the integrity of the man and the way he does business One in a Million. Joe's Automotive is where you get value for your dollar. “My van's emission monitors don't reset well after losing battery power and that was the situation I was in. I called a bunch of local shops and they all kept telling me to keep driving it around when in the past that didn't work. The only thing that worked was OCM performing a drive cycle on their dynamo. So that's when I called them and explained the situation, and no questions asked or telling me to keep driving it, just bring it in and they'll handle it. Great customer service. They had the monitors ready and the van smogged in less than 6 hours on a Saturday, which surprised me. I hope I don't have to bring it in again, but if I do I won't even bother with the other places and go straight to OCM.”
