The Genius representative tried to get me to pay for unnecessary repairs for my brand new MacBook Pro. This seems to be part of the company culture here and Genius employees are encouraged to support this sales model.It seems like the company enforces extremely unprofessional conduct at their in-store locations. This, aligned with the shrinking warranty time-frame and planned obsolesce, makes for a truly dystopian experience in Apple stores that has gotten worse over time.It’s less of the employees’ fault and rather the company’s sales model as a whole.

Recommended charger allowing me to charge my phone adequately again in stead of replacing it. Employees were nice and helpful. Best to schedule Apple appointments in evening!!

If you like crowed space Apple stores are for you. If you like walk in appointments this is not the store for you. If you don’t like metered parking and walking blocks from your destination due to no open meter parking avoid this location. Apple’s ‘Genius’ bar is a smart idea until you attempt to order up an appointment online. A lot if folks are saying Apple’s customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I concur!

I had been having issues with my AirPods for weeks and finally decided to make an appointment to get them fixed. When I walked in, I was not immediately greeted as most of the geniuses were helping other people. However a woman who walked in after me was immediately greeted. I politely interrupted and let them know I had arrived first as well as a group that entered after me. They took my info and directed me to the back of the store. There I was helped by Marquez. From this point my experience got way better. He listened to my concerns and explained how he would have to charge my AirPods first after he ran a diagnosis. After about 20 minutes, he came back and ran a second diagnosis and everything turned out to be ok. I had a secondary concern with my AirPods and it was then I realized that both issues were possibly caused by a faulty charging cable. He explained to me that I could try a couple of options and that my Apple care warranty was good until January 2024. I thanked him for his help, while I was extremely embarrassed that I felt like I wasted their time on something so simple. He was so polite and I would hope that all your geniuses are like him.

I had the best service this morning at the Apple Store on 4th Street. It was not a typical visit, as the shop was robbed while I was there!! As the “bad guys” ran through grabbing all the phones and devices in the front mid-section of the store, all the employees stayed calm and guided the rest of us safely to the back of the store. My sales associate, Josh, was so sweet and caring. I felt I was in good hands.From the first employee who took my information before I even set foot in the store (I missed her name, but she was terrific!) to my first, kind and helpful tech support at the Genius Bar, Marquez, to my awesome super hero salesperson, Josh, to Steven and Matthew, who took care of transferring my data and giving me confidence with my purchases before sending me on my way… I give the store an A+++ (retired school teacher still giving grades!)Thank you, Apple 4th Street Team!!! You are awesome!!!!! It was definitely an interesting and exciting visit!!
