Daniel was the absolute best! We went in on a Sunday late in the afternoon, and he took great care of us. He devoted his time, carefully explaining all the features and helping me choose out the perfect standing desk and office chair. We were in the store for probably close to 2 hours, and Daniel did not rush us one bit and was very patient. Honestly, being in the store was so much fun!
After all that, Daniel stayed beyond his shift and helped us load all the furniture up into our sedan car (I honestly did not think that all that could fit in our car). Overall, really great experience and will be back to purchase more items from them!

Appreciating David's expertise and insight into all things chair and desk related. I was having some lower back pain namely from remote work, and we discussed ergonomics, best practices and ultimately found an office chair that fit the bill just right. I went to Berkeley Office Interiors recently and David helped me find the perfect chair for me!

A few years ago, I went to a different office liquidator on the peninsula and bought a used Aeron chair. I unfortunately learned that the Aeron wasn’t a good match for me, but I was now stuck with it, as the seller refused to take returns. If someone had taken the time to teach me about ergonomics, I wouldn’t have made this mistake.
Fast forward 3 years and the wrong chair has finally worn me out. I’m looking for new options - I saw the great reviews for Berkeley Office Interiors and let me just say, everyone singing David’s praise is spot on!
I showed up unscheduled during a heatwave, and David still took a break from his project work to greet me and my partner, and gave us a brief history of ergonomic chairs, and good seating habits. David showed me several of the chairs in stock, talked through his personal preferences and experiences with each of them, and made some suggestions about posture and fit based on body type. He was more than happy to let me test the chairs at length- if you’re sitting for hours at work, you really need to try them a while. After taking a few days to weigh the options, I went back to pick up a Steelcase Leap V2. David remembered me from the week before, and got together a few options to pick from. Throughout the process, he was transparent about the trade offs of certain products, and about the differing wear and tear on the used chairs. He said “I sell to everyone like I’m selling to my own mother,” and it’s clear to me that he was not joking. For individuals, there is also a 1 week no questions return period, but because of how helpful he is, there’s no need to test it :)
Whether you are an individual, or a business, if you go to Berkeley Office Interiors and chat with David, you are in good hands. He has decades of experience with office ergonomics and planning, and genuinely cared to take the time to make sure I was getting the right chair this time.

Had a great experience purchasing an ergo chair here. David was super helpful in explaining the differences among some of the Steelcase models, as well as the different features of my new chair. Took home a preowned Amia for a great price. He even loaded the chair into my car. Thanks David!

I had a wonderful experience at Berkeley Office Interiors. I was looking for a high-quality, ergonomic chair that I could afford and was able to purchase a pre-owned Steelcase Leap V2. The owner was very knowledgeable and helped me understand how best to set up a workspace. Daniel (Louie) patiently showed me how to adjust the chair and checked made sure it was working perfectly. I spent months looking for a good office chair and couldn't bring myself to spring for a new Steelcase or Herman Miller. David walked me through the benefits of both, gave me plenty of time to test them out, and made the whole thing easy as can be. Can't recommend him or the quality of his chairs enough.
Bought a used Steelcase Leap V2 in great condition and won't look back!

I bought an office chair at Berkeley Office Interiors and I greatly appreciated the help I received from the salesperson (David) who explained the many features of the various chairs they had on display. I bought one chair, brought it home, and after 2 days I realized the chair was not for me. I was able to exchange the chair for one that was more suitable for my body and the exchange process was quite easy. Thank you, David and Berkeley Office Interiors.
