The Berkeley Student Food Collective is a tiny grocery store close to campus, open to the public. It offers fruits, veggies, ready meals, hot meals, kombucha, Olipop, and more, with great vegan, veggie, and gluten-free options. The shop accepts EBT/CalFresh and doubles your bucks, aiming to provide ethically produced food and combat waste. It is run by great, warm-hearted, and friendly students. While some reviews note the food can be a little expensive or sometimes not fresh, others find it a favorite place for groceries at a fair price and call it a great Cal student community.

Amazing!!! The cutest grocery store with the best vegan/veggie/ gf options. Very accessible and super close to campus. Even hot meals take EBT which is amazing. Friendly staff. A little on the expensive side but they double your bucks so it's worth it.
