“Absolutely fabulous store with charming goods! The owner (Max) is extremely knowledgable and super friendly, which made for a very pleasant shopping experience. I bought a few items for gifts and they were well received. I also recommended this store to my family and they enjoyed the experience as well. This is an unusual gem of a store on Vine Street with many choices for gift- giving as well as fantastic customer service! A must visit if you are in the area!!”
“Treasures of Tibet Store is the best place to shop in Berkeley for clothing, blankets, jewelry and gifts. It is owned by a fabulous family and Peki and Thubtan are such friendly and generous owners. They run the business with integrity and kindness as well as being so helpful and friendly. Their store items are of stupendous and excellent quality: beautiful and soft materials in their blankets and ponchos. They have a wide variety of clothing, from excellent , colorfully designed cotton pants to a diverse range of Tibetan blouses and coats. The earrings are truly beautiful and of many lovely gemstones. There are many rings to choose from. It is a truly well run store with so much to choose from, even big and beautiful abalone shells! This store deserves 6 plus rating. It is a well organized and beautiful store with such friendly owners who will go out of their way to give you the very best service.”

“The selection of gifts are vibrant, uniquely designed, and thoughtfully curated. I appreciated how the store owner allowed me to pair and match various baskets even though they were filled with inventory. I was able to pick up last-minute Christmas presents from Nepal, Kenya and India. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”
“jewelry is incredible quality and well-priced. the man who runs it is always very helpful when looking for something in particular and knowledgeable about the stones he sells. He’s also very friendly with his customers, and always has rapport with at least one person in there whenever i’m in the shop. if you’re looking for a solid piece of jewelry, i can’t recommend this place more. i’ve spent hours perusing his selection. great place to buy rings for men and women.”

“Owned by a lovely hard-working woman. To be honest, I don’t go into the store much even though I live nearby and I went in for the first time and found myself a wonderful well-made lined white linen dress that I can wear to the rehearsal dinner in a warm climate. And I paid half of what I might’ve paid from any other store, it’s crowded with merchandise so you have to look carefully , but there are very nice things”
“This sacred space is truly a treasure trove. The owner being the most precious of the treasures. I shared a wonderful conversation with him during my shopping experience and was gifted with knowledge of the history and journies of the items in his shop. The clothes he sells are healing, the materials are powerful medicine as well as gorgeous artwork. I look forward to visiting him again and again ?”

“One time i tried to get two pins here (both beautiful) and the owner told me i had to get a third because the third one was free. How could you not love this place? They also have strange candies, a wonderful thimble collection, antique photos and any other strange little thing you could possibly desire.”
“I want to thank the staff who was in charge of creating the order for my best friend and her new baby.
After seeing the low ratings, I was worried she would receive a bad arrangement but was happy and see to hear that everything was just as described. The fruit looks fresh and the arrangement had more fruit than I expected. I did mention to my friend to take photos, disassemble and place in the fridge if she was not going to eat it right away to ensure freshness. The balloon was fully inflated and the basket was nicely wrapped.
They are first time parents and trying to survive the new changes so I wanted to send them a gift to celebrate making it through their first month but also to recognize my niece being a month old. She can’t enjoy the arrangement but hopefully the balloon peaks her interest.”
