Robert and the Model Garage team are awesome! Dorene and Ernesto as always made sure my car is safe and sound transportation for me. They keep my (older) car in tip top shape and really “go the extra mile” to make sure everything is done right. They communicate beautifully and are very competent and kind, a great combination! My family has three cars that we've been taking to Model Garage for several years. Along with regular maintenance, brake replacement, and other basic service, they also solved a 'mystery sound' issue in our older Prius and solved a lurking issue in our front axle.
Highly recommended for fair pricing, excellent work, and incredibly great people and customer service.

I bought a used Subaru WRX. It died the day I got it (sad). I had it towed to a repair shop to replace the obvious problem (a broken serpentine belt). They said that it was running rough (gross misfires on all cylinders) but couldn't figure it out. I had it towed to another garage. They couldn't figure it out. I had it towed to The Model Garage. They did figure it out: party of the broken serpentine belt got into the timing belt.
The Model Garage solved the problem and did so with good communication and reasonable (low even?) costs. I will return there the future.

it was my first time, so good! thorough, communicative, clear, and transparent. appreciate the place being nearby, independent, dog-friendly. i brought in a car that needs some fixin’ (i want to ultimately take this 2008 toyota yaris farther on the road) and Ernesto was really open and transparent about all the fixes. we’re going in stages now as money and time are slim (i’m a non-profit professional with not that high of a salary) so knowing i can come in over time and getting an appointment the following week to start working on it was really relieving and gave me peace of mind. i liked how everyone acknowledged me and the dog i’m caregiving and other guests seemed kind too! the dog finally plopped down laying on the ground which i think is a good sign she’s relaxed :) thank you everyone!

Model Car Garage is aptly named. Robert and his team have maintained our Volvo for over 180,000 miles, working with us to set priorities on repairs. They are always courteous, responsive and maintain a clean shop. Many thanks for all the excellent care over 15+ years!
