Terrible service. Two white men were at the counter but unwilling to help. I asked about mailing sth and they just simply told me they couldn’t mail that, which was not true at all. They wanted to save some work for themselves . Also I really didn’t know if this had sth to do with race.

I try to avoid UPS if I can help it, but some websites only ship through them. Never fails to be a headache when I have to deal with them.

Went to return an Amazon purchase. Had to provide my own packaging and had it in a box but I figured they'd want to confirm the item inside so I didn't tape it up. They told me they would charge me $2 to tape it or I could donate $1 to their charity bin, and they would do it "for free." I opted to return it to a different store at a later time. Didn't know anybody could be so petty over tape.

The staff member I worked with this morning was extremely rude. I thought I could just drop off prelabeled packages without checking in. Apparently you can’t but he was so rude to me for making an honest mistake.Being nice is free! You never know how someone else’s day is going.

They lost my shipment even though they had the tracking number and then called me later to say they found it. Then they tried to charge me a fee for "holding the package". Packages are what you do! Stop nickels and diming the customer! This location will never get my business again. Somebody should look up the franchise owner and see what other bad businesses they own.

Amazing UPS store. Had such a bad experience with another store where they refused to take our Nike return after trying to charge us for bags, boxes and tape, even though we returned 4 times with what they required. Check out review in profile for more details.They confirmed that the packaging was in great condition and took it without question. Customer service is still alive. Thanks guys.

Shredding services at this location are way too expensive (over $23 for roughly 9 lbs of documents !). The UPS representative also insisted in placing my documents in the cloth-covered shredder bin himself (that can't be the proper protocol for ensuring confidentiality).

An employee here kept coughing without covering. Plenty of elderly and disabled people come here. So if an employee comes to work with what looks and sounds like covid, least they could do is to wear a mask.

RED FLAG!!!This Ups store STOLE things from my package!! The financial loss is over $100!!I dropped a return package at this location - a big box that one person can barely hold. When it was delivered , I was supervised it became a 2”x12”x9” box. - I was so surprised so I asked pictures from the receiver - apparently the package was modified during delivery - more liked even before it got sent out from the local store.This was not the first time I see this type of stealing happen with Ups. Some of their locations are very suspicious - Avoid this location! And the one at 1400 Shattuck Ave. Berkeley. (I lost an iPhone when mailing from that location.)I hope Ups can improve their management and supervision on the joint shops. What happened to me was very disappointing.I used to go to the big customer center in San Francisco (320 San Bruno Ave., San Francisco) and that one worked well. If you can, that location can be a choice.

Usually decent service around mid-day, but today we came by at 9:15am and the store hadn’t been opened yet and there were no employees there, despite the hours on the door and online saying that they open at 9am. It’s okay if the owners/employees don’t want to come in early on weekends, but just change your official listed hours to reflect that.

I had two prepaid returns (ATT and Amazon) and they were very helpful and friendly. No charges or any issues. I was frankly suprised by negative comments.

Quick service! If you have an Amazon rental, just endeavor to print out a label and pack it beforehand with the box the item shipped in beforehand — it’ll make the visit way easier.
