The United States Postal Service (USPS) at 1521 Shattuck Ave is known for its reliable and efficient service. Customers appreciate the quick processing times and professional staff, such as a standout employee referred to as "Top Dog." Despite some reports of long lines, many find that the wait moves quickly, especially during off-peak hours. This location is particularly favored for its secure drop-off option for large packages, which provides peace of mind that is not available at other nearby post offices. Additionally, the office is well-stocked with priority mail supplies. However, parking can be challenging in the area. Overall, the USPS at Shattuck Ave stands out for its commitment to customer satisfaction and secure mailing options.
I came in very frazzled after a long work day right near closing time (I do not recommend doing that, always come way earlier), but Shannon was so incredibly kind — she walked me through the process and was so helpful even when I was fumbling with my wallet and keys. Honestly made my day - thank you!!!

Went there around noon. No lines, quick and efficient service by “Top Dog”- thats what it said on his name badge. I was pleasantly surprised considering what I had heard about long lines and rude behavior at the Post office.
