I walked in to Desert Dunes Animal Hospital and the staff was Amazing to say the least. Such caring and professional staff. The Doctor was so sympathetic to my situation he knew exactly what was wrong with my baby and didn't suggest the costly diagnostic testing that other places demand. If you are looking for a professional caring veterinarian office look no further, this is it.”
“Dr Carlson and Roxanne are the absolute best. Toby ruptured a disc a year ago and after surgery at Tustin Veterinary Neurology Center (Dr. Jensen is outstanding), they recommended aqua and laser therapy. Toby has been going 2-3 times a month and has made almost a full recovery. We'll continue going to maintain the amount of recovery he's made.”
“We took our dog to Paws and Claws because they provide chiropractic treatments for animals. Our dog had the beginning of a back issue and they were able to get it sorted out before it got serious. The staff is very, very good and so helpful with your pet. And their rates are very good too! We highly recommend Paws and Claws!”
“Can’t say enough positive things about this whole office!!! Front office staff and the veterinary techs are always SO friendly, helpful and wonderful. Dr. Pentoney, my pups’ veterinarian, is the kindest I’ve ever ever met. She is so caring, smart, thoughtful, thorough and patient. She always takes the time to answer all my questions and concerns, and even personally calls to deliver messages about important lab results and tests. Dr. Pentoney has been a godsend even more so recently as one of my dogs has a tumor indicating soft tissue sarcoma, which is terrifying. I am truly SO grateful to this office for their care and kind demeanor. You can tell how much they value their clients and love animals with everything they do.”

“Just wow! In desperate need of help, I ran my dog at 5:30 pm to get help for a toy he swallowed that I thought had a battery in it. The ER was full and wouldn't see him and suggested I drive to Redlands, but I know better that things like this can't wait. VCA turns out is a 3.5 minute drive from my house so I took my chance. I was panicked and upset (my dog is my baby) They were calming and compassionate and saw him right away! Dr Smith could see how nervous my dog Grandpa was and took extra care to make him feel calm and safe. When explaining to me the good news of the x rays Dr Smith was so patient and never rushed us out. He truly cared and it was a breath of fresh air from what we were used to. The next day he called to follow up- not his receptionist but the actual doctor himself. I'm so grateful for their services and helping Grandpa and can't wait to make Dr Smith Grandpas official vet! “We received truly excellent, compassionate, and professional care for our beloved cat Leo, at Animal Samaritans on August 4th, 2026. We are eternally grateful to Brendan from the Cardiology Department and Dr. Klomhaus from Urgent Care.
When you have a critically ill pet, you want the absolute best care. We loved (and still love) our Leo so so much, and that is exactly what we received. We are devastated that we lost him, but everyone at Animal Samaritans—from Brendan, Dr. Klomhaus, and all the vet techs, to the reception staff—was respectful, capable of making sound professional judgment calls, and showed incredible empathy when we were having the worst day with Leo. We would have been even more destroyed if they hadn’t been there for us. Thanks to these highly skilled, well-trained, and compassionate professionals, we understood it was time and that we had done everything we could for him.
None of them ever rushed us to make decisions; instead, they gave us sound advice and guidance so we could clearly understand the situation and spend those precious final moments with him. They work in such a difficult profession, but they are incredible at what they do every day for struggling pets and their distressed families. They handled our case with immense grace and respect.

“I have had a really good experience thus far with Dr Frazer and her team at Animal Dermatology. She's been very accommodating, and gotten me in for appointments, often without much notice. The staff has been kind and easy to reach, and they've done a great job treating my dog who has difficult skin issues. They recently removed a worrisome bump. He's a senior, so I was very anxious about putting him through a procedure, but everything went smoothly. I am very appreciative of the care we've received!”

Very short staffed with 7 people waiting for one cashier although there were at least 4 other employees on the floor. After about 10 minutes, another cashier showed up. Of course I was the last person in line so the cashier was happy to get the crickets I needed.”
