Oak Knoll Lodge is a peaceful, quiet, and beautiful location. It is in a fantastic location next to Pine Knot Trail and the Aspen picnic area, a good ways off the main road. It is a very run-down cabin but offers simply comfortable and convenient rooms. Guests find it relaxing and cozy in the middle of nature, with a nice hot tub. The service is great, and the staff is helpful. Many adore returning time and time again with loved ones and pals, definitely coming back, especially when it is snowing. It is close to all fun places, with good walkability and nearby activities just a 10-minute walk away.
Loved this place! I had an awful few weeks and needed to relax and this place delivered! Not only was the bed relaxing, the tub nice and hot, but they allowed me an early check in when I told them how long I've been on the road. Definitely coming back.

Great location next to pine knot trail and the Aspen picnic area. Also a good ways off of the main road big bear blvd. It was a very run down cabin though but service (at golden bear cottages) was great.

It was exactly what was advertised, and what my wife and I needed. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful. Awesome time, definitely going back when it's snowing
