“The Anthony & Cleopatra room surpassed my expectations! The property is adorable, quiet, and rejuvenating!Very clean, robes, GIANT towels (perfect for this fluffy body lady), ice maker, coffee maker, bowls/ plates/ wine glasses, microwave, min fridge that fits 36 beers! & 3 large bottled waters, jacuzzi tub with working jets, the fluffiest bed and pillows that make you feel like your on a cloud!! & last, but for sure not least, SIR GWAIN!! I LOVE SIR GWAIN!! He made sure our room was safe, soaked up all the love and pets we could give, we even asked him to give us a tour and he proceeded to walk away and show us to his favorite watering hole!! See all my photos below for the adorable room & SIR GWAIN!!”

“This place is really adorable and clean. I love the cozy Victorian vibe it has and the amenities they offer. The staff is really nice and helpful, and they make sure everything is organized and kept up. I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and it made me consider looking at other bed and breakfast places when planning a trip instead of only looking at the mainstream hotels. The only reason why I gave it four stars is that when I was trying to go to sleep, I could hear other guests, such as their conversations and footsteps, because of the creaking floors and thin walls, which caused me to be up for the majority of the night. My favorite part was enjoying the warm fire in the living room while reading a book on the rocking chair.”

“Really nice place! Great location and really close to the town! The aesthetic is comforting and warming, the real mountain experience! Staff were super nice and welcoming! Definitely coming back!”

“I reserved the 2 queen beds, and the room was amazing, spacious, and clean. I love the electric fireplace in there. The rooms also contain a microwave, refrigerator, and Kerig. In case you forget your hygiene stuff, they have shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in the bathroom.Next time, I'm planning to reserve one of the cabins. By the office, they have a basketball court, ping pong table, and cornhole. The location of this place is literally right down the street from the village. My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It was very peaceful, and it lived up to our expectations!!”

“Fantastic location with views of the lake! The rooms are cozy and clean. Extremely relaxing with an in room jacuzzi. Great amenities: microwave, stove top, fridge- they have everything you could need! Walking distance to the village. We went during Christmas as it’s the best winter getaway in SoCal. The owner, Sunny, is very kind and accommodating. We will definitely be returning for this snowboard season. Highly recommend staying at fireside lodge. Thank you again!”

“We have a timeshare here. The front staff is always helpful. The game room is huge and personally, I think one of Worldmarks best game rooms. Their are two different Jacuzzis and a store in walking distance. Dogs are not allowed.Walkability: You can walk to many stores and I have ever walked to snowboard, before. Everything is walkable.”

“My husband and I stayed here for ski trip and this is our first time in Big Bear Lake! We stayed one night here. We are very happy with the lodge. The staff/owner are very pleasant and very nice. The room has everything you need and there is a kitchen area with microwave and small fridge, coffee maker. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. The king size bed is super firm and comfortable. We are very picky about the hotel beds and this one is very good. Location is very good and it’s close to all places you want to go. It’s great location for us for the ski trip! If you have questions, they message with answers promptly and provide information you need. It’s very helpful. We’d love to come back here again next time we are here. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and pleasant!!!”

“I received great customer service after I got into a ski accident and needed to make changes to my reservations. The staff treated me with compassion and empathy working with me on responding to my situation. Vintage Lakeside Inn will definitely be my go to stop for future trips to Big Bear.”

“Been coming here for 30 years and always enjoy my stay. It's clean, lovely view, and close to the village and skiing. Staff is pleasant and helpful too. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fitness room could be cleaned and the requirement to walk over to the office and pick up the key; just inconvenient. Also 4 stars because 2 of the TV remotes needed batteries.Great place to get away and relax.”

“The hotel as such is nice. Very well located, almost next to Snow Summit and a ski and snowboard equipment rental place. Breakfast was good, nothing out of the ordinary. The service is not that good either at the front desk or in general. The room cleaning service is not automatic but must be requested at the front desk daily before 10am”

“Wow I'm a little shocked by the reviews I've read after staying here myself. This is an adorable bed and breakfast Style lodge. It's definitely old, vintage looking, but cozy, and very cabin-esque. It's a 3 minute drive, or 15 minute walk from snow summit. You can't beat the location. All of the information to access Lodge in your room is emailed over to you. I thought it was super easy to get in and all the information was very clear and direct. It's a very adorable Lodge to stay in for a short period of time. They offer complimentary coffee, have a fridge and microwave available in the common area. Our room also came with a mini fridge, we had our own bathroom, two chairs and a tv. It was honestly perfect. I'm already talking to my friends about staying again. I actually like the idea of renting out the whole place, and everyone goes to their own room in the evening, and then can get together in a large area to socialize as we would like. I think this is a great way to also meet people, if you're traveling solo. It's definitely an experience, may not be for everybody, but I had a pleasant time!”

“Excellent place, it has been the cabin of my dreams. The place is very cozy, very practical, the arrival is very accessible. The cabin was too nice to be there, thanking the administrators very much for their good attention. Thank you. There were seven of us. We spent a weekend. ”

“The room fits its price. But the service frustrates me. Got over charged for more than $30. Contacted with the hotel one week ago, but didn’t get a solution yet.”

“This is the most affordable lodging option in Big Bear. Rooms are small but adequate and decently clean. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave in our room. I also appreciate the hotel being dog friendly. My only complaint is that there were no dog bags. They had a dog trash station that was out of bags, and when I asked the front desk for one they said they didn’t have any. I did find a way to clean up after my dog, but having bags available at a dog friendly hotel would be nice.”
