“My wife and I just stayed at the enchanted forest cabin and it was nothing short of absolutely magical! The decorations inside immediately make you feel like you are in another world! If the atmosphere itself wasn't enough we were stoked to find a small stream, hot tub, fireplace, mini fridge, ice maker, microwave, TV and everything else you might need. If you're thinking about staying here, do it! We are eager to return soon!”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Frontier Resort at Big Bear two weeks ago. The location was fabulous and easy to get in and out of and convenient to food, bars, skiing, tubing, gorgeous views and more. We were in Room 207 that was equipped with two queen beds, a great bathroom that was updated and spacial. The room had been updated and had that wilderness feel but without the mustyness and moisture. The room had a large window that gave us morning sunshine and views of the Big Bear Lake all iced over! The gas fireplace in the room wa modern and was fabulous. Lighting was great too. The stone patio with Adirondack chairs was right outside our door. We were on the first floor of two floor building. Stairwells and access were directly from outside with plenty of parking. The rooms were quiet and the 'neighbors' were polite. When we checked in, the office staff was pleasant and efficient. We booked directly through them and they were informative as to all the ins and outs of navigating the area with some great recommendations. We could see work being performed on the property (area near and around the hot tub) and we passed well maintained cabins, chalets and other 'housing'. The hot-tub was not in working order but they told us that when we made the reservation.”

“A very well maintained and clean property. Location is perfect for spending couple of days visiting Big Bear. A short private walk available to the lake.
Bedding was comfortable and seating area not cramped.
One suggestion to the management to provide additional mirror in the room. It will help when kids fighting for the only mirror available inside bathroom.”

All appliances (microwave, stove, big refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toster). All utensils. Large covered parking. Good area. All infrastructure. 5 stars!I'm recomended!”
“This place was awesome I love the location, I liked the vibe only thing was that there was a animal underneath our jacuzzi, I don't know if it was a possum or a beaver but I could barely see it through the cracks of the wood! Scary night but other than that everything was perfect! Will definitely give this place a second try.”

“Nice clean hotel in a perfect location. It wasn't as quiet the second night as the first because of someone that kept walking back and forth above us, which I found pretty strange. Room had a fireplace which was pretty cool. Perfect location if you don't want to drive around and want to be able to walk to the stores, restaurants or to have a drink.”

“The place is incredible. Beautiful spaces and a nice area outside.
Ive marked it down mainly on the amount of rules, some of which are contradictory tbh. Like the washing up. The check out instructions say leave dirty plates in the sink. The instructions next to the sink say if you use it then wash it. So we washed it but that needs clarity.
The amount of rules just tell me its someone terrified of damage and if that's the case the rentals aren't for you. I get it. I have rentals and its scary when you invest so much money in a development and youre terrified of people ruining it. But that's part of renting. Things will get damaged and worn. Things break. Accidents happen. You cant have guests walking on eggshells people need to feel relaxed.
The outside needs a little more also imo to be the type of property you dont need to leave if you dont want to. We just stayed in wildflower resort zion and that place had everything. Its a new place so I imagine it will get better.
The 10am check out time is too early compared to a 3pm check in time. A 5 hour window is just not necessary. If it needs 5 hours then they need to hire more staff. Ive never stayed anywhere its been 10am.
You barely wake up and you got to have everything spotless and be out by 10. Its not ideal.
This isn't even meant to be negative. The place is stunning. Just chill a bit”
