“Beautiful, elegant log cabin-looking home built in 1928 by Guy Maltby's construction co. for a movie producer. Visited by many movie stars and other celebrities. Originally had 10 bedrooms incl. maid's quarters, chauffer's quarters, and a donkey stable. Popular wedding venue. The hospitality is superb.”

“This is a small property with 8 individual cabins that have been completely renovated while still having so much charm! The design details were very chic. Bed was extremely comfortable! This would be a great place for a family reunion or large get togethers.”

“We've been to several events at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center and it's become our go-to spot for family outings. The food is genuinely delicious and reasonably priced — refreshing when so many places up here try to overcharge tourists.
The drinks are properly made too. You actually taste what you ordered, not watered-down disappointments. (If you've been to certain bars downtown, you know exactly what I mean.)
The music selection tends to stay pretty consistent, but honestly that works in their favor — it's always family-friendly and keeps everyone from the kids to the grandparents happy.
If you're looking for a place where the whole family can enjoy themselves without feeling ripped off, this is it.

“Amazing cabins and community. We have been coming here for t1d camps every summer and winter ever since we learned about them.

Melanie, jessica, rocky , ryan. They are all wonderful compassionate human beings that open up their arms for the kids and family. My kiddo loves it here and this is her home away from home and family that is extended from our family.

Keep up the great work and thank you so much for this community and what you guys are doing.

This campground has bb gun, archery range, climbing wall, swimming pool, clean cabins, nice and lovely hike trailz, wonderful dining area and cool play lodge with tons of games, medical center, and event center.

I shared my growth and journey that started from camp in my upcoming book Breaking Through Survival Mode (summer 2026).”

“Great historical landmark in Big Bear, the new owners have done a ton of improvements to the property and obviously care to preserve it for future generations its available for weddings or other functions as well as a get a way weekend with or without the kids easy walking distance from the Village shopping and restaurants and only a couple blocks from the lake. Close to all the action but still quiet enough to fully relax and recenter. Definitely recommend checking this place out.Nearby activities: Everything that Big Bear offers is right out your cabin door with minimum effortWalkability: Less than an eighth of a mile from the Village and lake”

“A nice hotel lodge. Very clean and a nice room. Had a nice 2nd store deck. There's a fireplace, but you have to bring your own food, lighter fluid and matches. But no one told us that, I had to reach out to staff to find out this! Was very disappointed!! And the staff wasn't very attentive or helpful. Probably wont stay there again for that reason.”
